I looked in great detail into this and came up with no definite answer. But the general consensus was it made no noticable difference and was quite a lot of work to keep track of with no noticable results. The only helpful trick I found was for the first day of flowering, to throw them into 36hours of darkness for the first night. This way there is no confusion for the plant weather or not it is time to flower. I did it to my first set and it seemed like Pistils showed a couple of days earlier than just switching to 12/12. but have also just gone to 12/12 several times and that works just fine, if It's not cenvienant to go 36hrs of dark.im growin 2 skunk #1s off a 200w purple spectrum cfl. does anyone know should i gradually bring them in 2 flower or abruptly ,would an hour step back a day into 12/12 be appropriate ?????
