I looked in great detail into this and came up with no definite answer. But the general consensus was it made no noticable difference and was quite a lot of work to keep track of with no noticable results. The only helpful trick I found was for the first day of flowering, to throw them into 36hours of darkness for the first night. This way there is no confusion for the plant weather or not it is time to flower. I did it to my first set and it seemed like Pistils showed a couple of days earlier than just switching to 12/12. but have also just gone to 12/12 several times and that works just fine, if It's not cenvienant to go 36hrs of dark.

thanks for the straight talkn 36 sounds like ur letting them know what time it is. 1 more q. please,im grown in a file cabinet 2ft x1 1/2ft x5,would 15" be good to head them at.sorry no pics YET!

Soil-- Happy Frog and Ocean Forest.

Lighting- 150 Watt HPS.. then 2 spiral CFLS 42 for the lower part.

Nutes- FOX FARM. Tiger Bloom and Big Bud.. Then Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, & Cha Ching..

White Widow closet grow.
These were taking a couple weeks ago.. I am about to harvest in about a week or so.

I have a thread here in the indoor growing check my page to see it..

Looking at those pics has got me juiced up. My 2 seedlings are making good progress, but I am a long way from cloning yet. I will stay tuned in. I am still on the fence as to go hempy or not with the first clones. I still have some time to figure that out. I will post pics of the seedling's progress over the weekend. They are starting to have some lower branches reach for the light. I have never seen such tight node growth on any strain before. The moms should throw many clones once they start.

Lmao. I will smoke to that. lol I am just shocked that your plant would only be 1 Ounce. I did a lot of reading on the amount one plaint can produce. 1 to 4 Ounces. Yours looks like 2 Ounces. But this is my first grow so what do I know.lol So for this is the worst first grow ever. My plaints are 46 days old and I am to inberest to take a another photo. lol
I should have my ass kicked for the abuse I have caused my plaints.

It always looks like a lot on the plant but once its dried and cures it kind of feels like you got ripped off:o Dont worry about your first grow so much. Mistakes is how we all learn and like you I over watered and overfed and totally locked up on the ph. Its a very common error. once you get a couple of grows under your belt you'll be a pro.

This is Dutch Passion White Widow. Looks much more Sativa Dom then the other guys flowering WW. His cola's look like typical WW. Big and thick. He's a bit farther along than I am. This girl has a month to go. She was put outside as a clone on July 1. Not bad for 90 days of growth. She definately keeps growing after flower. The shorty White Berrys nex to her wer put outdoors at the same time.

The high noon shadows are hiding her a little. But you get the point. Here is a shot of my one WW. Both sides. She's all cola.
