I agree with everything but the checking the order, I always do a quick 5-10 second check because then it's as easy as, "Hey, uh, you forgot my ...." rather than having to go in for somebodys fuckups just to get my $2 burger

It used to irritate me when people sat there at the window checking their orders, but only because I know I NEVER fucked up. EVER. Of course, they didn't know that, so I tried not to let it bother me too much. Sometimes I'd smile and say, "It's all there, trust me!"... but since fuckups are pretty common, I DO recommend everyone check their food - just not necessarily at the window while people are waiting behind you and the timer is running.

It's a $2 burger, it isn't as if they aren't going to give it to you if you come back five minutes later and say they forgot it.

today, i forgot to give a woman a spicy chicken, and i realized it as soon as she left


she came back in a few minutes later, i explained it was my bad

and because she wasnt a bitch about it and we were joking around i hooked it up with a free large fry


sometimes, you get rewarded for not being an ass

i go out of my way to be cool as hell to food service people cuz i used to deliver pizza. but i swear to god most every drive thru person in my town has a fukkin attitude. i dont blame them cuz i know the shit they gotta put up with. even on food reviews on restaurants in this town.....travelers always say its the rudest people they have ever met lol.

i used to work at wendys when i was 17 we woud have one guy be a lookout for the manager while i stuffed my face at top speed with a custom made super extra extra extra bacon cheese burger mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm


then when the manager wasnt lookin i would grab a bunch of fries real quik dip them in that honey mustard sauce they use on the sandwitches and chompem down mmmm mmm man oh man

the reason i dont quit my job is because after quitting wendys for a year, and being unsuccessful for an entire year in job hunting, i went back

so i have no other options at this point until i finish getting my computer science degree

with as little stupidity involved as possile


im trying to inform people what its like on this side of the register... and to think with your brain when your ordering

also advocating being nice to the people who make your food, as most people treat them like shit

is that so much to ask
