if the stem snapped a lil bit, i used a straw, cut out a piece long enough, and cut down one side on it, then open it up and wrap around the stem, if that makes sense, a lil nute burn, flush the rez, let her sit in some fresh water, then start from 1/4

thanks guys. just flushed out the rez. i pruned the bottom two leaves from before cause the were getting pretty brown. but not theres more nute burn from before on the bottom leaves.

Im using the feeding schedule from General Hydro.. after i give it a day or two of just water for the nute burn im going with mild growth cause im like 15 days in. is that what u mean by 1/4 strength?

I think im gonna fix the stem and nute burn before i switch over to the Mh light.

Sicc. thanks for stickin with me dude. u the man

haha no prob man, Just start at 1/4, the chart is just to base your feeding on, most the time, people experiment, and do there own thing

Like SICC said, the chart is just to provide you with a starting point. I suggest following it to a "T" the first few times. Then, when you get accustomed to growing, you can play around with the PPM and fine tune it to your strain.
you need to keep it at a steady 5.5 to 5.8
Exactly!

pH fluctuation can cause serious problems.

my ph test now is pretty similar to that. i just get the water so its yellowish. maybe i need something more accurate. anyways heres some more pics. not looking too great. should i just keep going with this plant? also theres a pic of my roots. are they good enough to unplug the water filter?

Is your pH tester, along with the "up" and "down," hydroponically friendly?

I'm asking cause I use the liquid tester and I haven't had any problems with pH since my first few weeks of my first grow.

keep the plant man, shes fine, its just your pH, a pic of what you use would be nice, but either way, it should work..

I use the ph down and the ph test from this kit. The ph test ranges from 6.0 to 9.0
the 6.0 is yellow so usually i try to get the ph some shade near that
I would definitely invest in the General Hydroponics adjustment kit. The kit that you are using is ok (at least until you get a better one), but you really need a tester that goes down to 4 or so. Without that ability, you will never know if you have gone too far. This can cause great problems.
