All this talk about planes is hijacking the thread, ironic isn't it?
We don't torture period. It's illegal, immoral, unethical, whatever you want to say it's just wrong. That's what *supposedly* makes us the good guys. But some broke the law and should damn well pay the price for it whatever a jury decides is fair. I was in the army and sure as shit had I broke the law torture or otherwise I'd have been held accountable. So far only the little guys have been held accountable for anything ie Abu Graebe.
Nobody should be above the law I don't care if it's Bush or Cheney or Obama or who, break the law pay the fucking price.
No good comes from making us "the bad guy", it only justifies the terrorists cause.
In no way am I anti american or pro terrorist but to think of any group or person as less than human, way way wrong. The Nazi's treated the jews as less than human and we should have all learned something from how that turned out.
