I can't tell what kind of bulb that is, but my grow shop warrants bulbs for one year from date of purchase.WHAT SHOULD I DO????
I JUST bought this the other day!!! Do I have to get a new one??
might!!! I would demand one or cause so much fuss they wish they had given me one!!! But thats how I am, I dont take shit from retailers...know your rights!take it back... you might get a new one free....
Can I get an amen!!!might!!! I would demand one or cause so much fuss they wish they had given me one!!! But thats how I am, I dont take shit from retailers...know your rights!
Its a 28w CFL, yes. But I just have it screwed into a normal plug in lamp. Which, is plugged into a timer in a wall. But that is it. Am I doomed to purchase another? It looks like your ring main has overloaded at the point the light has tried to spark up. What else is pulling watts?
If you have the receipt, take it back and say it didn't work in the first place. Most retailers won't give you too much fuss over a couple of bucks. Its a 28w CFL, yes. btw, it is a Sylvania.
I mean, its not THAT many watts, all I'm doing is trying to get my baby to grow a little taller before I upgrade wattage.
Thanks, all of you. I had some hope that I could do something else to make this same lightbulb work =/ But I suppose not.If you have the receipt, take it back and say it didn't work in the first place. Most retailers won't give you too much fuss over a couple of bucks.
Better check max wattage for the lamp, maybe why its blown! Its a 28w CFL, yes. But I just have it screwed into a normal plug in lamp. Which, is plugged into a timer in a wall. But that is it. Am I doomed to purchase another?

If it's only 23 watts I hope that's not why it's blown. I've had similar problems with cfl's. Some are just crap.Better check max wattage for the lamp, maybe why its blown!
I know what your saying but I have a 20watt max output bedside light. I have an 8 watter in it, you can almost read a book!!!If it's only 23 watts I hope that's not why it's blown. I've had similar problems with cfl's. Some are just crap.

That's kinda what I was thinking. The ones I see at the hardware store are rated for 60 watts I think.its hard to find a lamp with a standard base that has a rating less than 40w.
and usually less than that and they switch to candelobra base bulbs.
