thats nice as hell and very cheap i might add the new ones ive seen witch comes with lamps and all run around 4 to 5 grand each and the 2 movers i was gonna buy both came to 500 bucks so i think 320 is a pretty good deal

hells yeah man. i'd rather make money than spend it. and you've already got plenty other equipment to get a very legitimate op up and running. i had a very very nice harvest off the 1000wHPS/400wMH i ran on a circular light mover... wall to wall buds in a 7'x7' room. And that would only be 200w more than the (2) 600's you were thinking about.

Yeah, I am a 600 fan all the way. I have a 1000 sitting on the floor and I use my LR 3.5 as an expensive hanger.....so You might not care for my opinion on this lighting issue, grodrowithme. I believe you can get more per watt with the 600's, you can get better coverage watt vs watt, imo, until you talk penitration<----the 1000's take that until you go vertical. Imo, too, the rails work/help cover a bigger area, but again, I dont believe you'll get more weight or density by using one.

Anymore, for the size area your using.....----I'd go 4-6 600's, or work towards that, and cool tubes......

How's your outside?? I 'll go check it out in a bit.....I finally ordered myself 2 cool-tubes at our hydro-shop and I think I can get them today......what a war the heat has been.............(fried that brand new $600 portable ac....----so put my old Sunpentown back in there<---works great, go figure), but now back to the smelly exhaust issues(but got a uvo3nair 1000 ozone generator I am going to try out).

You get you ac set up yet??

Have a great day!!

DaGambler how many plants did you put in that 7x7 room and how much light 1400w??
ya, 1400w... 1000wHPS and 400wMH on a circular light mover... beleive it was 36 plants in 2 gallon containers, though 3 gal. containers would have been better. that was a soil grow. deffinitely got at least a 1/2 gram per watt on that grow. and the light mover deffinitely helped me to utilize those lights to the fullest. though i'd usually choose buying another light over a light mover... if electrical consumption wasn't a concern. its all gravy in the navy, sometimes it just makes more sense to use what you've already got. maybe invest some more green after you've grown some green :leaf:bongsmilie:leaf:

That exactly what Im doing. I want to put 20 jillybean and 10 3rd dimension under 3 hoods one that houses 1 600w shps and a 400w mh, then I have 2 brand new seperate lights and hoods that are 400w shps that will also hang over them. All in all Ill have 1800 watts 4 bulbs 1 600w hps 2 400w hps and 1 400w mh. Will this be efficient enough for 30??

ok so i got what i think is a problem but theres 2 of my friends growing the same strain and they said theres did it to. but all my new growth is curling straight down like it will grow out fine then just shoot str8 down im kinda confused here the only thing i could find in the book said it was from a foliar feeding that was mixed way to strong but ive never gave my plants a foliar feeding so.............

Bump can anyone help with those problems
i'm not sure man, but i can make some general suggestions...

make sure you completely change out ur rez/nute solution at the first sign of any problem. then bring it back up to the desired ppm with fresh nutes at the prescribed rates (but not necessarily at the proscribed quantities). plants can pull a particular micro or macro nute faster than the rest and then be deficient in that alone though the ppm's have hardly moved.

also, anytime leaves are healthy green enough (not pale) and they start to kink or curl or bend or twist then start looking at either over-fertilization or pH problems or nute lock out caused by poor water quality.

ya, that's reeaaaal helpful, right ?! :D

basically, make sure you are using RO water alone... then mix fresh as proscribed. make sure your pH is between 5.5 and 6.5 (might as well shoot for 6.0) ... and then make sure the ppm's aren't too high. personally i don't usually push them past 800 ppm, especially when having any signs of trouble.

my apologies for being a bit off topic... but you could grow 30 plants under the 600watt light alone... like GypsyBush with a sea of clones. Just a matter of how tall and wide you want them to be before and during the flower cycle... if ur shooting for a somewhat standard 12" inches tall sea of green at the switch to 12/12... in maybe 2 or 3 gallon pots, that should be plenty of lumens to support healthy and robust growth.
