Do you 12/12 from seed or 18/6 +rep for vote and post

Duh 24 hours from seed to bud stage. What r u a newbie ?? lol . This is ridiculous. Course we are talkin indoor grow right. I dont mean to be an asshole but Ive always done 24 hrs for 6 weeks then bud for 8 to 10 weeks 12/12 or 11/13. Every 1s different though. Course thats when I use to grow in California way back when.

Remember plants are just like us in a way. They need rest time to grow and repair. 24 hours of light does not give the plant this opurtunity. While the plant will grow under 24 hour light it will grow much better under 18 hour light with 6 hours darkness. I found this out first hand when I started. I had them under 24 hour light for quite a while but then turned to 18/6 and the plants took off.

Shit I couldn't sit around waiting a year for a plant to veg, wow way too much time for something to go wrong.....

Yeah after 4 months it's already alomst cut down time for me, i cant be that patient.
I "tried" dunno if it worked yet, FIM mine latest veggers, just 2 but they been under 24/0 the last 3 weeks another to go and then 18/6 for a few more.

12/12 ok for quick turnaround, butr if u wnt a decent yield 18/6 is the way to go

Well because im new and now know the light cycles for veg is 18 on and 6 off and ffor flowering its 12 on and 12 off....but how do i know when to put the plants into flowering?? Im going to use a CFL for germinating and seedling stage and then switch to my 600watt HPS when they are bigger but i dont know when to actually start the flowering!! Thanks

I likes to go 24/0 for 3-4 weeks then another 3-4 weeks 18/6 then 12/12 till DING.
Here are some 24/0 that are about 3 weeks old.
Ill give 2 pics, one was last weekend and the other today (7 days difference)

WOW what a differance after a week!! I hope mine look like that when growing ...LOL

Im raising my lights 2-3 times a day this morning they were on the lights if it wasnt for the fan blowing over the lights my plants woulda been hurt.

For veg I ussually do 14/10 and flowering 12/12-11/13 I have to switch it on and off by hand so its a pain in the balls good thing I have a very regualr sleep schedual I wake at 6 am every morning to burn.
