Has anyone actually experimented with 24/0 and 18/6 for veg with the same strain within relatively controlled systems and gotten explicit yield/quality/time differences? It just seems like there have to be some people out there that have been doing this for a while and have experimented with the ideal photo-periods at least for a particular strain. I hear alot of well it's "debatable" and "in my opinion" but I can't seem to find someone who can tell me I've tried it all (24/0;18/6;combo of -for veg) on multiple strains over _____ grows and this is what I have found. It seems like most people here go 18/6 if they don't go straight to 12/12, but for those of you who do this, can you say that you have actually tried variations/combos of the two and found one way more productive/beneficial than the other? Again I know each strain has it's ideal photo-period, and some people "think" well plants need rest too so I never 24/0 it, but I just thought I'd ask. In reality I know the variation might not be different enough to say, but it seems like some of you out there who have very controlled systems should have some insight. Any input is appreciated, just a noob here who doesn't want to reinvent the wheel, plus I'd like to have some reference for a debate I have with a friend on this site. Thanks.
