Just read the ENTIRE thread. I think il have to start growing again. Also as for a 4 foot box: I have a 55 gallon fish tank box thats 4' 3" tall 1'11" deep and 1'3" wide. Not great, But whos going to argue? All you need is some electrical tape to light proof it, And some white spray paint. Monroe here, By the way.

Bro you have enough space to veg for a little!! those flower nutes will do great now and even if you vegged for a little...

Ya they looked like I overwatered a bit. But not horrible. Im trying to change my watering cycle up! Im trying to water every 3-4 days. Whenever the soil dries out.
But they were lookin green when I put them to bed. So ill be there first thing when they wake up to check them.
SO freaking sorry I didint get to take pics tonight! Even I was excited about it. BUT...... I was lining the walls with MYLAR! Yes I found some! Mauahaha!
Anyway. I was doing that until about bed time. So eh. Im off work tomorrow so Ill take pics and post : )
Oh BTW NP! Welcome to RIU and wow thats great that you read the fourm through! +Rep for you! Also How many plants do you plan to grow in the fish tank.
Sounds like a great idea for the fishtank! But only for about 1 plant. 2 would be highly pushing it! You could just order some femmed seeds so you wouldint waste your time then to find out its a MALE!
As for light. White inside is good but Mylar is better. ($1.50 at wallyworld are the "fire blankets/emergency blankets/camping blankets/" that will do just fine.)
The outside can be with whatever you wish!
Make a Journal if you start a grow, Id like to see it!

Nah Im already 2.5 weeks into flowering so Ima stick with it. I be letting my next grow veg for about a week in the Germ box!
Ya If I dont kill em by the time its over with by nutes! lol! and you think ill be about how much yeild total now that I started nutes?(looking for somthing to hope for!lol)

Im not going to plant the tank. Already have 600 dollars invested in it with around another $400 to put out. Just to get a 55 ready for fish. On top of that i would have to cut holes in the hood for the plants. The roots couldnt get thick because of blocked lighting to the live plants in my tank. Plus thats extra lights to hang above. And im expecting a random walk through from my landlords daughter.
Assuming that was directed at me.
I do plan on investing whatever pocket change i have off the tank into getting prepped for a grow. Havent got one to harvest yet for logistic/dumb decision reasons. I will make a journal though. I might go ahead and make it to show the entire process.
Plants are looking good man.

Alright everyone! Day #19 Update!
Im still going 12/12 been doing it from seed.
I currently have 4, 150w CFLS with 2,100w CFLS
I changed my watering over to about every 3 days. I just watered until it barely started dripping from the bottem.
Im watering with Nutes now. I have Sugar Peak's Flowering nute that Ill water twice with nutes once with clean water : )
I spent alot of time in the local hydro shop today (probly like an hour) just picking their brains.
Ill most likely do a DWC for my next grow. Seems very simple and they were telling me ways to ghetto rig it so it'll be cheap : )
Anyway more on that later!

yes thse lights go into regular sockets! i have the same ones in mine, well different brand but same wattage! Sorry for answering on your Journal Bro!!

But I will answer also, Yes they fit just fine into regular light socket. I would suggest getting some Y splitters and getting at least (2) 150w's on each plant. But if you group them together and put the lights on a power strip, It'lll be much more effective lighting. : )

Just wanted to give a quick update and let everyone know that the babies are looking great. Ive been moving the light up just a bit to get them to stretch : )
Also I planning on ordering a 400W HPS setup. Do yall think that Ill be able to grow 5 plants from seed to harvest from it? Let me know : )
Also what do yall think about DWC for my next grow, I was just kinda throwing the idea around for right, Just curious, anyone have and exp. with it?

Eh, I was reading somewhere (maybe FAQ?) about that. Its not true. They said it should enhance the flavor and taste, Because the roots are able to soak in the nutes and the plant can grow the way it would like. Ill read more about it though. I haveint decided to do DWC yet. Just kinda throwing the idea around : )
