Buds drying out on LIVE plants?!?!

My plant has been budding for 11 weeks now and ALL fan leaves have yellowed and died buds are still green but the extierior is crusty and the tiny leaves in the buds crumble. Skunk #1 grown in soil under 2 400w hps and an additional 1000w equivelent of cfl as side lighting. 3'6" in 15 gal pot. Feed cha ching, mollases, calmag and clearex. Any ideas?

I know I should have pics but it's light out right now! I'd really appreciate any helps you can give me without pics but it really just looks like regular bud but theyre just kinda crusty. Temps never above 80. +reps for any good answers!

It sounds like they are done,cooked,ready to harvest....but its hard to say for sure with out photos

And I water 4 gal of water once a week but it is 75% sativa. The biggest colas very top pistils are still white and under 30x magnification trichs just still look mostly clear....not many amber at all on MOST parts.

Tons of buds!!!! I'm just hesitant cuz I hear it's so common to harvest early and I'm trying to pay attention to the thrics!!

ok well i unplugged the timers so i am doing 48hrs of dark. but im still concerned that they look so done but the are not thricomes are 10% amber

Not to be the devil's advocate or anything, but have you checked any of the buds for seeds?
It's just kinda odd that the trics are still all clear...?

Yes i have and there are no seeds that seem to b develpoing. how long does it usually take to change over from clear to amber and how long do seeds take to develop cuz this thing has been flowering for 11 weeks as of tomorrow. I only have this one plant in the room all other plants are at my work where we did have a hermi but killed it very earlier.

I know its hard to kill it after all that time and Love and care.... but you need to take the plunge at some point.....she will get you toasted ...enjoy :^D
