I agree. The #1 issue at election time was the economy. An overwhelming majority of Americans were against the bailout. Yet most people voted for the two candidates who wanted the bailout. Many Congress members who voted for the bailout were also reelected.

I think Beck is funny. When a News item is mentioned that contains serious consequences I'll research that item and make a judgment from my research.
The Acorn story he did is a good example. Getting the story out is important as I dislike the ones who hide and cover up under the guise of it's better when you don't know. lol all that is, is bullshit.
As far as taking someones "word" on a story I'll go with Lou Dobbs over any of them. I think he's the best of the lot.

Ok son school now open..geezzz .......Participants in Nielsen's national sample are randomly selected.To find out who is watching TV and what they are watching, the company gets around 5,000 households to agree to be a part of the "sample" for the national ratings estimates. Nielsen's statistics show that 99 million households have TVs in the United States, so Nielsen's sample is not very large...they just get "some people" to install the sample box...again I ask the question how many people do you know participate in this rating poll...who do you know that does this...Well me not a single person.... so you are told that by a sample of people these are the best shows....and you fall for it...so I guess that would make you the joke...Advertisers love suckers so I guess we can call you "Lollipop" with the Cracker flavor.
