I'm a firm believer that if you love what you do, then you never work a day in your life. I get my "work", Passion & Hobbies all fucked up. While gardening, rasing a number of Farm Animals & wood working, I sit each morning, waiting for enough daylight to go outside & PLAY. The hardest goal, for me, is to have a stress free work & home enviorment. It's rare to have both, and it really is quite wonderful. I've moved past the Community thing. But here's my new goal. Whether it's meat producing aniimal(s), or gardening, the goal is to do what I enjoy, but have a high demand. The demand for grass fed Beef, range raised Chickens, pigs, or organic vegetables is higher that the market supply. Boggy Creek Farms is just one example. Resturant's has a very limited choise as to where to supply the kitchen. The cost to grow, harvest, warehouse, ship, warehouse then deliver half green, chem raised/low taste/low nutrition toatoes cost a fortune in overhead. I want a decent greenhouse with a regular outdoor Garden, where the Chef & I choise what to plant, & how much produce, & when. Cooking is one of my passions. If I was a Chef, I would love being able to set a 12 month per year menu via what to grow. I personally don't care what I grow... why not grow what the market will bear? If done right, I could do what I love, & the money will reward you. Just my dream.
