it has an exhaust vent to pull moist air out..... is conected to the homes central A/C for easy temperature control and humidity reduction ;), and has a window to crack for airflow..... we never used it for bathroom purposes..... plus we could just run warm water to create humidity if it was nedded (never was)..... worked out perfect in there..... lights stayed off cuz we didn't need any light in there lol.....

Ahhhh I see... makes complete sense! I dont have access to an area like that, were the kids or guests wont find it. Hubby made a dryer out of a big rubbermaid storage container, but it too quick and made them crispy on the outside and still moist on the inside. (hmm almost like a cookie..LoL) He was thinking about added them to a paper bag and then adding them to the dryer so that it wont dry them out as quick on the exterior. But I dont know......

Then there is what we have been doing... we trim them down and hang them upside down from the ceiling. The furnace is in there and stays fairly warm during the colder months. Once they have dried, like when the stems are dry and the buds are dry but when you squeeze them, they still have a lil bit of moisture inside, we add them to paper bags. Then we fold over the tops of the paper bags and will skae them up once or twice a day and open the bag for a lil bit, so the moisture/ drying evens out. Once they are dry there we then add them to the mason jars and do the same thing with opening the jars and shakin them up a bit.

Feel free to tear apart my method and break it down! LoL

I pin mine to hangers and hang 'em in my closet right where the ac vent is to blow nice fresh air on them. I let 'em sit for about 5-6 days and then into the jars they go. The first week I open the jar twice a day and take every single bud out of each jar and then proceed to put them back in a different order, the second week I cut this down to once a day every other day, the third week I cut it to 3 times in that week and then I don't touch them till week 5. Makes for a GREAT SMELL when you first open the lid. Its like someone took a bud and slapped you in the nose with it hahaha LOVE IT!!!!

I know its been a min.... working like a damn dog! I hope all of you are doing well. I have to get thru everyone thread soon! Happy growing!

So our girls are getting soooo big n fat! I wanted to share with you all.

The first pic is my runt.... can you believe it? I think she is gonna have the fattest cola.

You'll also notice I used some garden ties and ran it across the tent and then made some lose loops to help hold them up... they are so heavy and just leaning. I thought this way might be easier and its actually doing the job.

I started my very first grow about ten days ago. I just was wondering if you could answer some questions about your grow.

1.) How tall are your plants now and how tall were they when you induced flowering?

2.) How far is your light from your plants?

Hey AA.... they were about 12'' tall at about the 5th week that we went into flowering. We kept them short n bushy, by topping them. They are now 3.5 feet tall at 6 weeks into flowering for a total of 11 weeks so far.

The light is kept about 12'' to 18'' away from the lights.

If anyone else would like to chime in... please do.

Thanks for the answers. I have the same lights as you except I have two of them and I bought the connecters to make them air cooled. I have 23 NL plants growing right now and am hoping that AT LEAST 12 turn out to be female (fingers crossed!!). Here is my grow journal: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/251418-first-grow-www-marijuana-seeds.html. Please check it out. I am very excited for you and I can't wait to see your harvest!!!
Thanks! I will def get a look at it tonight!

Thanks Valjean! LoL I understand!.. I was a lil beside myself when he first decided to do it. I have been working so much lately that I havent had time to help him as much as I should. He gets so excited when things go well with the grow and wants to talk about it allllll day long. So I feel I have to support him all the way. Better that she smiles tho right? Good luck with the grow and thanks for reading my journal!

Ok....whew.... I am tired you guys! Work is killing me, but then again my hours will slow down this month... so I will be on more often.

Now Hubby says we have a lil over a week left...I havent seen them in a few days, but I will def post pics tonight! Now when we do the last flush.... should I still do PH'd water?? Or does it not make a difference now?

Wow you guys are flushing already? I gotta see these pics to make sure. If you guys are still a week behind me that would only put yall at 7 weeks. I woudln't chop at 7 weeks. Take 'em to 9 weeks atleast, wait till those plants visibly look like you could break a bud off and load it into a bowl.

great! Be sure to go by when they are done and not just 9 weeks. Most strains take longer to finish then advertised. What are you looking for in Trichs to finish? Spending all this time and chopping plants not completely finished will be a huge let down from what could have been. I am sure you will be fine!

You have two and a half weeks left..... one or two more feedings.... pics would definitely help........ as I am going off of you last pic update... I have grown Blueberry, you want to take her to the brink of 10 weeks before she is Done Done, ;)...... the last 10-14 days should be flush...... so follows that they have two more feedings......
