UPDATE: Day 8 for Blueberry Autos. Fed barely any Voodoo Juice and a drop of Superthrive today. Plants look healthy and growing pretty fast. First time using superthrive so hopefully its good. Getting ready to chop the 14 Lr2 plants on the left side in a few days. Most of triches are cloudy but waiting for half of them to turn amber.

Did you buy all of your seeds or impregnate your females with pollen to get the seeds. Im wanting to get a bigger grow going but the cost of seeds are eating my wallet up. I spend a 100 bucks ever few months for some seeds that only gives me enough smoke to get by.

EDIT: is it going to hurt a auto much if i lollipop it?

Yes very nice... Never tried any lowryder before but i hear its good. What are your thoughts on it bein a grower and all.. How it smoke cuz?
I love it. The thing i love most is that it is fast. Couldn't imagine waiting 3+ months for a harvest. The smoke is great to me. I just feed water for the last week and the smoke is pretty smooth and not very harsh at all. I never feed full strength nutes. Barely half.

Yea i pollinated my female plants with a male to get seeds. There is no way im paying that much for seeds. Wat do u mean by lollipop it?

Ive seen a trimming technique called "lollipop" ill post a pic of it... Its where you cut the bottom branches so that the only bud that grows is on the main stem... it helps the plant focus on bud production of the main cola instead of the entire plant.. plus u can fit more in a small area....

Im running low on bud so i ended up chopping the smaller pop corn sized nug branches off of the plant lastnight. Afterwards i remember seeing something on lollipoping that might be similiar to what ive done.... im still in the research mode:weed:

How can it be unstable... and did you like the DinaFem seeds? I got a blue hash and blue widow as some freebies and would like to know a little about it

I dont recommend cross breeding at all. The cross u make might be unstable. Thats the last thing you want

so basicly what your saying is when you breed you cross lowryder2 with lowryder2? not a lowryder2 and a bluberry?

so as long as i cross A with A i will have stable seed stock but if i cross A with B it could be unstable? and to get it stable dont you just breed it back to one of the parents? just trying to learn as much as i can about breeding cause im fixing to build me a room just for it.

i know when you cross any strain with a different strain it could be bad but out of all the accidental crosses ive ever seen happen they were awesome.

i had a friend order som lowryder and he didnt know anything about no autos and he put em out with all his other female clones and before he new it (outdoor grow) they were pollinated he couldnt figure out why some of his plants were already flowering and then when the others started the all got seeded well this year he grew the seeds witch were the lowryder crossed with afghan kush that turned out to be some fire ass pot.

Dinafem Seeds Roadrunner Autoflowering *NEW STOCK*

Cannabis plants are botanically classified into two major groups:Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Sativa. Ruderalis is a sub-species of Sativa. Broadly speaking, Indicas come from mountainous parts of Asia, Sativas come from damp jungles ... and Rudelaris? Ruderalis originally comes from the region of Siberia and parts of eastern Europe and northern Asia, where hemp has been grown historically; populations of autoflowering cannabis have regularly appeared in these and other regions, which suggests that Ruderalis populations come from diverse origins and that they spontaneously start growing in the wild thanks to the great variability inherent to cannabis. What happens is that all of a sudden, in a place where hemp was grown for fibre or seeds, a particular plant left over from a population that’s gone wild expresses a mutation that enable it to flower earlier than all of the other plants. Logically it spread very easily since it produced a lot more seeds, which quickly caught the eye of interested growers. By crossing an automatic variety with our best parent, inafem #1, and stabilising the cross for a number of generations, we’ve come up with this surprising variety. It’s capable of producing amazing buds in in an absolutely unbeatable 60 days, making it ideal for balcony, garden or guerilla growing in midsummer. It can be planted on May 15th and harvested on July 30th, getting you through the difficult month of August (on holiday and nothing to harvest!). On the Mediterranean it can be planted from April to September and in northern Europe only from June 1st to August 15th. For the best results, it needs optimal growing conditions, especially in the first month; if not, the plants will be small. They need 20 hours of light to grow at full speed, both indoors and outdoors; therefore, they grow more in June than in April. For unlimited growth they also need a lot of substrate from the very beginning - 4 litres minimum, 20 maximum; the more soil the better. The best thing is to plant the seeds in Jiffy-7 starters and as soon as they sprout, move the plants to their permanent pots. Growing in hydroponic systems, like arlite, rockwool or coconut is also faster and produces bigger plants. They need longer to finish flowering than when grown in soil because they grow a lot larger and produce more flowers. Too much moisture in the soil in the early stages of life is very harmful, so make sure they have good drainage or don’t overwater if soil grown. The powerfulness of this variety harvested on July 30th is surprising, with a predominantly heavy body high. The quality is more than acceptable, so much so that a lot of growers have started to use them for indoor growing. Others put them next to the mother plants, with 18 hours of light, to test them out and see for themselves the high quality these amazing seeds can produce.

sounds like a light smoke.. with only 6 to 12%.. i'd rather grow something that will get people really high but its definitely another advancement in the auto industry. :)

Im not 100% sure it would be unstable but i wouldnt do it. If you really wanna waste 2 months pollinating the females for seeds then waiting another month for the seeds to be ready to use, then another 2 months to test them out. IDK about u but i dont wanna risk 5 months of my crop to test out some homemade cross breeded seeds that might be garbage and unstable. Not worth the time and money to me. Up to u though if u wanna try.

Yes basically what im saying. But there are alo variables. For example if the female u were pollinating was stunted or had some problems the seeds it produces might have problems as well. Thats why you have to pollinate the best looking female

So you would rather buy the seeds that are guaranteed to be of your expectations then making seeds yourself.... thats not a bad idea for a newbie like myself or someone with a limited amount of space and resources. Im looking for some good seeds for my next batch. Is the term "lowrider" coined for plants that grow short? or for plants with particular genetics? Im looking for some short plants that have good eye appeal, good potency, and maybe a furity or chocolate flavor. It would bee cool to run across a chocolate thai X lowrider plant :D

Following this thread, pretty damn cool man. Im growing some NL and some Afgan x Mazar right now and the wait is killing me. Id like to get into some autos maybe.

Is there a high yielding, low odor strain you would recommend?

Also all you guys trying to get shorter tents and cutting them: How about buying a small one and laying it on its side?
