I think many understand the college brokness, and lots are probably in college. my view on it, if you have money for weed, you have money to buy some decent materials. at most think of not buying pot for 5 months, thats assuming 2 months stopping just to buy some good equipment, and then if you didnt buy at all while growing for minimum amount of time to get a decent amount of bud. I guess it really depends on how much you smoke. I am of habit where if I have access to it I will smoke a lot, but if I don't, I will not smoke it all or even look for it. So if you smoke little and generally just don't have money then what I say doesn't apply. But otherwise, its worth the wait in the long run. Just imagine after that first time around having enough pot for months, knowing you already spent all the money and everything is just "free" pot from then on out. I think for those who do smoke a lot buying good equipment is the best long term investment, since you will pay a lot up front, but pay very little compared to buying weed from then on. You also have less risk of getting caught buying weed since you don't buy it. All you need to do is not tell anyone and you have very little chance of being caught with all the right equipment.
