Was'nt trying to bash your thread bro>just dont understand why there would need to be a million question after your first post wich like you said explaind everything.For anyone thinking of growing,if you need to ask how to plant a seed,you probably should not be growing anyways

Luda, the problem I have with Jason Wilcox's videos is that he talks for-freaking-ever! Come on, a three part video series on germinating seeds?! He spent over 8 minutes (in just video one; I couldn't sit through two more) telling us to poke a 2mm hole in soil, pop the seed in there, and cover it with plastic to keep the humidity up. And I thought I was long-winded and went off track a lot! 
Last I checked, this was a site for learning and teaching.
If germinating seeds didn't need explaining, then there wouldn't be a myriad of people doing silly things to their seeds, much less the myriad more instructing others on the necessity for these silly "methods" to make a seed sprout. People are asking questions mostly because going with nature goes against what they've been told to do on RIU and other sites like it. So they get confused... do what Mother Nature instructs, or do what cannabis growing forum users instruct? IMNSHO, Mother Nature knows her shit... but sadly, all too many people spin the mystique on cannabis growing, and just one result is people questioning Mother Nature's abilities.
And if you don't know how to choose/mix soil, you probably shouldn't be growing anyway... or container size, or how much water and nutrients to use, or lighting... etc.

i only posted jasons video part 1 and i have never read his other videos as he is a bit boring and long winded.
i posted that video for someone a long time a go that never had jiffys or a propogator just to show them how it was done simply and cheaply.
i have thought about trying jasons way but i am to stuck to my method thats never failed me.
i have yet to have a seed not germ the way i do it so i wont change it as it is not broke.

True, true... I repeat myself a lot when I'm stoned, especially with sativas. OMG, sativas make me really chatty! I use indicas during the day if I've got company... I'm much a better listener with indicas.

Ah... I would never smoke a joint if I didn't want to sleep. One hit and I'm very relaxed. Two hits and my pain level is much lower. Three hits and I'm a complete idiot. Anything more than that, I'm down for the count... and I've been teased for my "baby" hits.

moderation. 1 joint can last me a long time (sometimes a full day).
i have a few draws of my joint and let it go out itself and repeat the process over maybe 6-10 hrs.

I keep a cigarette snuffer in my ash tray... I'm almost always done before it gets a chance to burn out on its own, and I certainly don't like wasting any of it. The snuffer puts it out within one to two seconds, then I use a cigar cutter before relighting it.
I prefer eating it, though. Hits the body much more, though now my "body highs" are less intense pain. (But I won't complain about that! lol) Lasts for hours too, and I usually get a good buzz but not to the point of stupid. Then I can smoke a little bit in between when the more acute pain hits, or I need that oh-so-unattainable sleep, etc. Or some fun for Super Bowl Sunday and other great days like that.

when using those small rockwol cubes to germinate how wet should they be? and what should i put them in? i have a humidity dome and a heating blanket if those are necissary. thanks.

I've started perhaps 100 seeds the paper towel way, but I also should have gotten 150 if I counted them all up! In other words, I just ran outside in the cold pouring rain to scoop FF Ocean Soil into some small cups. After laying 4 Nirvana Short Riders in wet towels, I just moved them. They were bathing for 24 hours.
Since this is my first non-bagseed grow, and had to pay for these beans, I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make it perfect. I do have one concern though.....the seeds look puny! As in tiny! I'm a bit concerned about that, especially since I thought I was buying from a good bank. See below:

my very best strain i will never let die, was the smallest seed i've ever planted. and all her children are tiny seeds too. i plant all my seeds straight into wet dirt.. no pre-soaking or paper towels.

I did.....but after I had already put them in the paper towels.
They are now sittin' in some moist, but not drenched FF soil. Wish me luck!
