no offense anyone but where is this thread going? lol, it seems to have lost its original purpose of talking about old users we miss and has been replaced with just another argument/fight about/on mods and the supposed misuse of the powers they have. imo we already have plenty of them as is. lol

I wish I could remember the name of the old cowboy western movie where the town's macho sheriff still wore the badge but e quit carrying his guns and being macho and walking tall and enforcing the law because some bullies had made life difficult for him and put him down for doing his job. He unknowingly actually allowed the bad guys to make decisions for him about how he would do or not do his assigned sheriff tasks, and allowed them to rob him of his dignity.
After a while passed, and after allowing a few people in town to put him down, and ride him and kid him and dish him and poke fun at him for doing his job, he finally realized he had friends in town that were being bullied and they needed him to enforce the law and protect them from the trolls and bashers, opps I meant outlaws and rustlers who rode in and out on Saturday night, disrupting the peace and rough-riding the local peaceful city folks. He finally realized he had friends who needed him to put his guns back on and enforce the rules, I mean laws of the town. He finally realized he was well respected by the majority of the towns people for his skills and ways and to ignore the bad mouthers who had robbed him of his dignity in the first place. He evetually organized a possey and cleaned the town up of pirates and rustlers and claim-jumpers and became the town's good sheriff again.

I miss that old movie.

So true man. I never come on here anymore. It seems like the more members that join the shittier and shittier it gets. In my perspective anyway. Not trying to be negative but even this thread turned into bullshit around page 11 i had to quit reading.

Membership has increased and i believe that most of the new members are very young, hence the perpetual arguing. If people just used the ignore button more it would be better all round. The forum has changed incredibly in the time I have been here, and not all for the better. I respect the members who are knowledgable, helpful, respectful and dont play the 'mines bigger than yours game'.:joint: You know who you are!
