I like one-hitter quiters!
Congratulations man.i took chantix and quit after 20+ years. it's been just over a year now and i haven't smoked a cigarette. i'm often around them and i still have some here. i have NO desire to touch them. they make my lungs hurt. i found this out after being in the hospital for 5 days last year. i came home and smoked and it hurt. got on chantix shortly after that. i went from well over a pack a day to 0, overnight. never looked back.
I agree, first 3 days is the hardest. Its impossible to get cigarettes off your mind, just gotta have the will power to ignore it.the first 3 days r the worst comin of cigs.. once that physical need is done its all mental.. also u might gain some weight
For everyone that says " I was on heroin and it was harder to quit cigs" If the had bags of tar hangin there every time you went to get a soda or pay for gas I think it might be alittle harder. I don't think it's a fair comparison. Just my 2
It's all you dude. Some people can do it easily, some people have to struggle, some people gets withdrawls and get sick some ppl rly don't.hey i am a little nervous about quitting cigaretts. it sounds retarded, but i just dont want to go through withdrawls and have to miss work. i have been smoking for 2 years.. i am 21. i am nervous about the withdrawls because i have 9 months clean off of oxycontin (about 160mg a day for 2 years). so yeah if anyone has any advice i would really appreciate it. i have tried the gum but its kinda lame. so how hard is cold turkey? and i am thinking of just getting an electronic cig until i can get back into the habit of working out. than maybe i can quit. thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
