How are things in your world?
sorry man when i read that i had been up for awhile workin on the room. I jus read it wrong. took it the complete wrong way. i jus reread it and understood. That was a dooshbag move but trust me man im not that kind of person.Uh, dude WTF are you talking about?????
I was talking about ME fucking up typing --- not you!!!!!!!!
Damn, are we a little sensitive there??????
I WAS going to comment about how I like your set up and offer a few suggestions, but I kept fucking up the spelling and just deleted it all and typed what I did.
Grow up and grow some thicker skin dude!!
And BTW, you DO need a higher cfm fan in the worst way, but otherwise you look good-to-go
Lol. No problem dude!! We all have those days from time to time!!sorry man when i read that i had been up for awhile workin on the room. I jus read it wrong. took it the complete wrong way. i jus reread it and understood. That was a dooshbag move but trust me man im not that kind of person.
But back to the room. I have the 435 cfm inline fan ordered. and im about to start germinating my seeds. But of course new things have arose as they always do. So i hve a few questions:
1. How many plants for my area? (6'W,2.5'D,8'H)im thinking 6-8 with 4-6 wk veg.
2. I am low on funds and i dont want to cooltube unless i have to. Will using the 435 cfm inline for exhaust (with carbon filter) be enough to cool room?
3. If so any suggestions on passive intake that will block out light allowing air? i was thinking dryer vent cover with flaps, maybe 2 cuz most are 3"
4. I have heard that foxfarm's ocean forest is hot and acidic and could possiblely burn seedlings. I have heard of cutting it with light warrior. Should i not add worm castings since the soil is already hot? Any suggestions? (i already plan to add some oyster shells for sure. a few egg shells, and crab shells if i can find some.)
1. I think 4-6 sounds good. I would probably do 6-8, depending on how much training you give them
2. Not sure, I think you may be ok if you have a fan blowing directly on the bulb as well.( small oscilating fan) Exhaust at the top(hot air)
3. I would use standard ducting for the passive intake. I have tried making flaps and shit, but the ducting has always been the cleanest.
4. I like what greenjeans said. I am all for perlite and EWC. Wouldn't worry about cutting it with light warrior if funds are low. Start low on your nutes when you do. I feed through veg, then when they flower you can hit them hard with nutes....
how large of a duct for 435 cfm?Just add a few feet of duct on either side of the vent. YOu know the shiny stuff, fairly light proof. Put it on the inside of the box is you are worried about looks from the outside. A couple bends in the duct and the light should be eliminated.
I think its polite of Mr.greenJeans from not thread jacking.Where da hell da pics at GreenJeans??
