I have deg discs, herniated discs and fractured vertibrae in my back from a parachute accident in the army so for me the pk is amazing. It is a deep whole body high and is not something you smoke if you have a lot to get done. It is perfect for pain releif, sleep aid, and anxiety. It delivers a mellow euphoric high.
I know it isn't a huge yeilder, but it is what I like best for pain relief and stress relief.

Well ofcourse you do Dragon Your Mr. Green Thumb man! I am just not getting my expectations up since this is my first grow. From what I have read pk is a medium yeilder compared to a deisel or something. I could have picked a bigger yeilder if that was my only goal. I just like pk so I went with it. We'll see how I do for a rookie.

On that note, I just got some outdoor OG Kush yesterday from a buddy and wow. I really enjoy it. It has the same deep body high, so I am paying close attention to bender's grow to see how they turn out. Maybe down the road

I know you said they are the SR71 pk's, but did you pick these up in oakland from oaksterdam or from another club? I've never been to oaksterdam but I'd really like to sometime.

Good question.. I did not pick them up in oakland. I went to lake county, Clear Lake. The vender claimed they were first generation from SR71 mothers. I hand picked the best 12 of the 80 they had. Forntuantley, they look like the real deal. I also didn't bring any mites home with them, which was another concern.
I would like to get down to oaksterdam too. I was going to sign up for the weekend course at the universtiy down there, but damn it takes months to get a spot and I can't plan that far ahead. lol

I will take one in a couple hours when the lights come on. Do you have a pic that I can use as reference? Obviously my camera isn't going to give the resolution your pics have though , but I'll do my best.

So went to pick up nutes today and when I came home and got out of my truck..HOLY SHIT!! It smelled like someone dumped a bag of bud on my head. So I went under the house to the room and it is so strong. Obviously my DIY filter is not working anymore. I guess because it is windy today I got a good wif. If I knew it before I left I would have picked up a filter while I was at the hydro store today.damn it So anyway it is apearent that I am going to need to get a new filter asap.

Not much to report today, which is always good news right. I fed today and at the next watering I'll start the budxl. The buds are getting very crystally and sticky. The smell is starting to get wonderfully fragrant. They smell sweet and pungent. I will be looking into a better carbon filter next week. The verticle growth has slowed signifantly and they are starting to fill out.

I can't wait to see your set-up. Knowing you it will be tight. I will be adding and tweaking as I go. I won't be doing too much though untill next year. I am moving my room to a room off the back of my garage that is actually my 17 yr old son's bedroom when he moves out(which should be next summer). So, when I do move, I'll be getting a seperate a/c unit, co2, etc. Then we can compare LOL I will def work on the odor issues this week

Yeah, I am stoked at how nice they are turning out. The Oaksterdam classes are 250 for the weekend seminar, 500 for the semester(oncce a week) and they have a bunch of specialized training classes that are like 50 bucks for a two hour class. They have classes on everything from cooking with canabis to advanced genetics shit. The catch is, you have to take the basic weekend or semester course to take the advanced classes. I think you can learn most everything on here you need to grow, but if you wanted to know why the plant grows then it would be beneficial. ive been checkin into those classes at oaksterdam as well they have a class in LA so i mite go there too. sucks u have to take basic first before advanced even if u know the shit.

I just picked up some samples of Azos nitrogen fixing microbes fromthe hydro shop. Have you ever heard of it? This a link http://www.reforest.com/xtreme-gardening-azos/.
I was thinking that since I am using house and garden a/b that I wouldn't have to add nitrogen. The A has the nitrogen. Is there any posible neg effects of too much nitrogen?
