I know you've said she won't smoke with you, but just try this if you're going to quit anyway. Tell her that weed is important to you, but that you're willing to give it up for her, if she smokes it one time with you. If she has a negative experience again, you'll drop the issue, and the weed. But if she has a good experience, well, problem solved.

Just make sure you're not jumping with your heart alone. Make sure your logical head is in this too. Romantic love alone does not make a lasting relationship. So don't make that mistake.

Cosign on that; I used to be as big a stoner as anyone, but to say that quitting smoking weed would "change my lifestyle"; well, no, it really wouldn't.

When I do smoke, it's once a day, about 9:00 when I've gotten all my other shit done and I wanna veg out in front of the TV.

My girl's gotta "piss clean" (to quote someone above) for a job, so she hasn't smoked in three weeks, and to be supportive, I haven't, either - don't think that makes me a pussy or bending to her will, just lending support to the person I love.

Opinions are like assholes, but mine is that the majority of people on this site put much, much, much too much emphasis on weed - I enjoy it, but on the list of things I couldn't live without, it's pretty far down there.

I meant it in the way that religious people tend to stick with other religious people. I stick with chicks who smoke it, or at the very least, don't mind it.

And girls come and go. Anyone who wants to change themselves for someone else can feel free, but I feel like it's a waste of time and builds resentment in a relationship. And in case you aren't aware, resentment does not go well with relationships.
