Coco and soil grow indoor

pretty ADD about this one I decided to make a labeling schematic that will be based on the time period of the plant and the solutions used to the finished products. That way, I can reflect on what I did if certain batches come out way better or worse or experience troubles.

Each plant will get a 2 character code S for seed, C for clone

Potted 12/3/2009
S1 - Trainwreck
S2 - Trainwreck
S3 - Bagseed
S4 - Bagseed
C1 - pineapple express
C2 - pineapple express
C3 - blueberry
C4 - trainwreck

S1-S4 are in a heavier coco soil, Black Gold Cocoblend.
C1-C4 received pH 6.0 flush before transplant. Organicare Pure Earth. Runoff water pH 7.11 ppm 392.

All plants recieved a Plant Cuccess supplement (small amount 1 inch beneath the soil)

hey man seen u got sum coco goin on huh? well here's sum inspiration man this dude said he vegged for two weeks and then flowered and boom this is what happened. i don't kno man they're fukin huge for only two weeks of veggin. but maybe coco is the shit all i kno is i might be joinin u on the coco side just to see. i think i'm gonna run house and garden coco nutes i've been wanting to try this brand but i'm already on the advanced train so next run maybe unless i can get ahold of sum monkey juice. anyways here's that link i was yappin about it's called massive harvest small closet, chek it out man this dude really got a sik yeild in a space smaller than what i was workin with before i got the tent.https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/278158-massive-harvest-small-closet.html

yup, thats a pretty sick harvest for such small pots and stuff. mad insane. Looks like he grew it outside and threw it in the closet for show as a joke but I dunno the stems would imply that it was definitely not grown outside and was in a tight space with lots of support.

transplanted 4 more clones, 2 of which had established root structures and two of which do not, all 4 of them need to establish roots and begin re vegging.

So that makes

C5-C8 which at initial transplant have a runoff of about pH 6.7

4 plants will become mothers: a trainwreck, a pineapple express, and a blueberry, and one of the bagseeds. Hopefully the bagseed will not herm, if it does herm I will have to eliminate it from the lineup :(

Bagseed is a gamble....

Het, DBO, looking forward to your journal. Was curious about growing in Coco, especially after seeing Rasclot's journal.

sweet, expect updated pics and growth progress in 48 hrs. pretty sure these clones are going to be insane, pretty sure I will have to start flowering them before I empty out the flowering area.

I'm collecting information about these strains so I might as well share it here.

Joint Doctor's Dwarf Mix

"This is the Joint Doctor's variety pack. It is a very good choice for anyone who wants some variety in their auto-flowering strains. Each packet is a 100% auto-flowering mix of Lowryder Original, Lowryder #2 and other related lines in the Joint Doctor's breeding projects; usually integrating Santa Maria and Mazar genetics. All plants will begin to flower at 3-4 weeks and will finish in 8 weeks from seed, while exhibiting slightly different shape, branching and budding traits. Subtle differences in taste can be noticed by the connoiseur."

"Aptly named for its low profile (both literally and figuratively), Lowryder was developed for extreme rapid growth (life cycle is 8 weeks from seed to bud), uniquely short height, and amazingly versatile. Lowryder is stable and reliable in its properties, a product of nine generations of selective breeding, and is non-deviant and hermaphrodite-free. Lowryder claims direct descendance from superior William’s Wonder and Northern Lights no.2 indica, as well as a more exotic, virtually unknown short variety believed to be descended from “Mexican Ruderalis,” an experimental cross created over 25 years ago. Passing directly from the seedling to the flowering stage, Lowryder altogether does away with the vegetative growth stage, in a process called autoflowering. In other words, when planted, it sprouts, grows a couple sets of leaves, then immediately and automatically begins flowering. As a result, it is the quickest, most compact, and most discrete plant available. Having no vegetative stage, Lowryder can’t be cloned or regenerated, for all intents and purposes. Replanting seeds is a must. But then, this plant’s unique advantages do away with any reason for cloning in the first place. It is an ideal parent strain, producing some offspring with its unique autoflowering traits. To complement its unique characteristics, Lowryder’s final appearance, taste, and high, have nothing to envy of the finer weed varieties, an excellent strain with high potency and good resin production"

"The long-awaited successor to the Joint Doctor’s flagship strain is finally here. Lowryder #2 is the newest product of the breeder’s quest to improve the strength, yield and flavour of his original variety while maintaining the unusual characteristics that made it so popular. Lowryder #2 has been infused with superior Santa Maria genetics, a variety known for copious resin production, exotic taste and soaring highs, it is an indica / sativa hybrid originally from Brazil. The cross was subsequently selectively inbred for three generations. The result is an auto-flowering dwarf that yields a wonderfully strong, head-turning smoke with intoxicating taste. The strength and flavor is backed by copious resin production and much-improved yield and stability. Buds are larger, tighter and more aromatic than the original Lowryder. As with Original Lowryder, no separate room or light cycle is needed to flower Lowryder #2. Outdoors, Lowryder #2 will mature quicker than any non-auto-flowering variety."

"As a rule of thumb, treat Lowryders like seedlings for the first 2-3 weeks, then switch them onto a light bloom program. So, you feed them a seedling/transplanting formula the first 2 weeks, then switch to a bloom fertilizer with something like a 5-10-5 or 1-2-1 ratio of N-P-K."

GHS Super Lemon Haze

"Flowering Time: 10 weeks"

under 2x600 HPS
"The internodal length was very bad and all 5 plants where very uniform in structure. SLH is very easy to grow but don't give full strength Nutrients every watering I only feed 2x per week with Liquid Iguana and just PH water the rest of the time. SLH is a very Gorgeous plant to look at the trichome coverage is some of the best I have grown. The smell is to Die for Very lemony with a touch of skunk."

Mandala Kalichakra

"Light: 600 W/m2
Flowering time: 70-75 days/October
Yield: 500-550 gr/m2 (dry weight)"

"I took clones and kept a motherplant - it wasn't hard to clone.

One of the Kalichakras that was a motherplant in veg for 2 months - autoflowered (probably because it was rootbound) so I had to take a flowering clone - this worked out really nice, this is the new motherplant - it hasn't flowered yet and it's on 24/0 just as it's mother was."

"Stature: Somewhat short and squat"

"Days flowered and trichomes color(s)
63 days 40% amber"

Thanks, mate. I kind of had that feeling about the lowryder but I'm not particularly concerned with the quality of it. I may make a small bubbler system for lowryders that will allow for perpetuating about 8 of them (they will go to seed, but I can start one every 2 weeks and if I get a lot of seeds start taking out males) and just grow them in the veg area. If a vegetative plant is pollenated will it cause a problem later? I dunno.

haha hell yea I have heard a lot of good things about the super lemon haze. I don't really care for greenhouse seed co. all that much after the trainwreck but I decided the cannabis cup can't be wrong it must be real damn good. Their plants just have large statures and more finicky requirements.

the mix I have is organicare pure earth indoor aeration mix. Its pre-mixed cost $15 for 1.5 cu ft (30 lbs) and has a buncha wonderful stuff in it. I like it quite a bit but I haven't yet gotten to see how it performs in the long run.

Just put in an order for dripper equipments.

I will run 1/2" tubing main feeder lines. Since I will be doing a 3 x 4 or 3 x 5 plant setup, I will have 3 main lines coming from the first via T fittings.

The setup will look like

reservoir
pump
|______ _______________=
............T [`] [`] [`] [`] [`]
............|_______________=
............| [`] [`] [`] [`] [`]
............\_______________=
............. [`] [`] [`] [`] [`]

fortunately this is going to make the grow realllly easy.

UNfortunately it will require all of the plants to receve the same nutrients. At least the entire setup is modular so I can disconnect and manually water some if I to by moving the figure 8 up and removing drippers.

My drip line will run 1/2" tubing from pump to two different Ts as shown above which will run the length of the pots and will be closed off with figure 8s. There will be a 1/2gph drip emitter run through 1/8" tubing to a stake dripper which will deliver the solution to the roots.

I got plenty of hooks to attach the 1/2" tubing to the pots so that it will not be runnin wild around the pots. It will be rigidly attached to the edge and run the length of the rows. This is going to be sweet!

I figure with this setup I can do feeding intervals of minimal length and deliver equal amounts and it will be easy to guage the time after a couple test runs using a digital timer. My first test will be in one minute intervals with several minute breaks until I see water pooling in the tray. Once waters in the tray, that is enough watering. I will run the dripper probably twice a week one longer cycle with nutrients and one or several intermittent waterings with just pHed water.

I think I got the kind of dripper you can take apart and clean.

got me some more rapid rooters and new heat mat (apparently folding it in half and creasing it breaks it entirely... or maybe it was too wet too humid X.X
will have to treat this one better in both aspects)

little later than anticipated - growth rates

anyways as you can see quite a few of the clones and some of the seeds are taking off.

getting a higher powered T5 light with a hood for vegging these girlies and a bigger tent for flowering them: 4x4
