Is anybody else growing out the Wreckage that Attitude was giving out as freebies last month? They were said to be regular seeds, not fem. I guess I got lucky because all three germed and were girls.
Just a little background info before the question. They grew extremely fast at first, growing tall quickly. I topped each of them and they responded excellent, making four equal height tops. They showed female preflowers earlier than most of my other sativa dominant plants all while still in the veg box on 24/7 light. My problem is that the entire life of these plants, the leaves have drooped on all three of them. Even while they were just seedlings and shooting up fast. I am not a total n00b and know that it is probably over or underwatering, but I just can't nail it down with this strain. I have given them ample root space, a proper environment, and tried everything I can think of. I water them just like any other plant. I can always tell by the weight of my pots, but when I think they are thirsty, they never perk up after watering, and when I think they are overwatered, they don't perk up after drying out. The plants' leaves are otherwise green and the plant seems healthy enough. As I said they are growing really quick. My temps and RH are good, all my other plants seem to be very happy. My only guess is that they either want more light because they are light whores or it's part of their genetics. My veg closet is all CFLs, but a bunch of 'em. All other plants in there are happy, including similarly structured sativa doms. I did put one in my flower closet three days ago under the 600W HPS. It is perking up a little, but not enough for me to say it is a happy plant.
The genetics are Trainwreck and S.A.G.E. I have read that Trainwreck is said to be a finicky strain so I dunno if this is attributing.
It's almost like the guys from THSeeds were sitting around smoking and said "Hey, we should make a strain using Trainwreck called Wreckage, that would be awesome"
"Yea! And we could mix it with S.A.G.E. so it is a mix of the two names, fuckin' ace!"
They say the S.A.G.E. is a vigorous girl and that's part of the reason they chose to mate it with the Trainwreck, to help instill some of that vigor into the resulting strain.
