Sorry about the confusion. That makes a lot more sense. I was using 6" square pots and like I said not enough root mass to suport big bud mass. But with the beds theres no wasted space. How deep are the beds 6"?
The beds are 10 inches deep with 8inches of dirt. Your sappose to fill it full of the dirt mix i explained earlyer and water really good with plain water before you plant(make sure you have good drainage). That will bring the soil level to roughly 8 inches.. Plant and then give them 2oz Auisse tonic and 1 oz of superthrive mixed with a quarter strength mix of 3-2-1... tbsp per gal... 3(Grow)2(micro)1(bloom) for veg. (1week). Keep the 1ker 36 inches away untill vigorous, then move to 12-14inches away from plant when flowering.. in a cool room...
for flowering my recipe is a good mix with 3-2-1.. diamond nectar 4oz every week cept 7th... pureblend bloom..hydro boost. kool bloom. 10-30-20big bud week 3&4 ..topload wk 3...rhino skin for pests..1 tbsp per bed every water cept 7th. they are sprayed with neem oil every two weeks 4 times(with or with-out mites. kool bloom, karbboost. week 8 last wk..floraclean with icewater and then 3 days with no water and 8inch cold air intake 24/7 with the 12inch outtake running with-out the thermo/humid controller.(makes it cooler and avoids humidity build up)clip all the big leafs off day while still growing. then harvest a day later with some stiinky bksh.
i dont have the recipe on hand just giving product listings. you have to make your own recipe for your strain. on mine i lower chemical nutes by 50 ml off the main recipe..for the first two weeks of kush. the recipe is also for a 25-50 gal barrel and per bed. i do three beds in one barrel with a ppm of around 1500 in peak flowering. hit them twice a week with that and then water at the end before the next week.
The beds are so pack there is 6 fans and a corcoal filter. Ventilation is key for SOG and packed beds to avoid mold problems(if any). mold cant land with drafts and bugs.... there wont be any because you add rhinoskin and spray neem oil plus the draft.
The roots have so much grow space on the beds the buds get so dense.. Hope that helps
