greentree85,
First you need a base, something like pro-mix or fox farm light warrior. I use Premier Peat Moss because it's cheap and easy for me to find. Once you get that figured out you can start from there. If your base has perlite added already then add less to your mix. I like to use a variety of things so I have fast and slow release food. I've never used any compost in my indoor grows. Store bought compost are to costly for me and I won't bring anything out of my backyard inside for fear of bugs. So lets say you go with Pro-mix, I'd mix something like this.
Base
2 parts pro-mix hp
1 part perlite
1 part worm castings
Veg mix
2tsp per gal lime
1tsp per gal blood meal
2tsp per gal bone meal
2tsp per gal kelp meal
1tsp per gal epsom salt
2tsp per gal bat guano
Flower mix
2tsp per gal lime
1tsp per gal blood meal
2tsp per gal bone meal
2tsp per gal kelp meal
1tsp per gal epsom salt
3tsp per gal bat guano
Depending on how aggressive of feeders your plants are, and how long you veg you may have to supplement with the fish emulsion untill you get it dailed in for your plants needs. If I were you I'd look in to a slow release N fert as the blood meal tends to run out a little early for me. I also use molasses every other watering to feed the beneficial bacteria. Remember to always mix and moisten well at least 2 weeks befor use stirring daily and don't let it dry out. Add the compost as you like, maybe start with 1 cup per gal and see what happens. The great thing about organics are there very forgiving.
