I took one of the somas and got and it was complete garbage..

But as to the topic at hand.. I got prescribed seroquel by my doctor to take it at dinner time for day time anger problems. He gave me a bunch of samples to experiment with and see which dosage works best. So far all it's accomplished for me is putting my ass in bed for however long it has been.

Anyone know of any seroquel alternatives? Any advice is helpful personally.

i dont entirely understand what your trying to say in that post but i suffer from the majority of the symptoms (ADHD, depression, anxiety, and possible schitzophrenia and OCD) that i am prescribed medication for.

A federal lawsuit has been filed against pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca for its role in paying Chicago psychiatrist Dr. Michael Reinstein nearly $500,000 over the course of a decade to conduct research and to promote its anti-psychotic drug, Seroquel.

If you got problems, take friggen loads of DMT and work through it, its like squishing a bunch of mushroom trips into 10 minute sessions.

but don't even TRY to tell me you're a sufferer of Schizophrenia.
When I said that I didn't mean to suggest I am a full blown schizphrenic. I've never experienced seeing visuals as described to me by my friend who actually has schizophrenia and whose brother has "schizophrenic tendencies" or some other word. But I know its not normal to hear voices and sounds that no one else hears, when I am sober.

As for prescription medication "solving" (band-aiding) problems, I quit taking my medicine for quite a while and it resulted in me being admitted to the hampstead mental hospital, not very much fun. Once I got back onto my medicine everything slowly got better, until I would get random panic attacks multiple times throughout the day and that is when I got Klonopins. Now I've been prescribed seroquel to take at night and its supposed to prevent anger during the daytime, but all it does is turn me into a zombie. Not sure too hold onto it or try to get him to switch me to something different.

Yes, I am a medicine "abuser", that fact is pretty clear. However, unlike most people on rollitup I don't (and perhaps this statement is incorrect) have a supply of dank headies. Or a job or drivers license.

This is where pills come in.

Schizophrenic Tendencies My Ass. You Either Have Schizophrenia Or You Don't. There Are Other Psychotic Disorders But Schizophrenia Is Its Own Little World.
I won't speak to this. I think if you knew this person in real life and knew their psychological history you would beg to differ.

Check a pharmacological reference, or even WebMD, for contraindicated drugs for the stuff your prescribed *especially if you have more than one doctor*.

Doctors overlap prescriptions all the time, and unless your doc actively takes out the pharma encyclopedia and checks it against your current prescriptions when prescribing you a new one he could be missing something, because there is a LOT to remember.

I used to have one that was sent to my address where a former pharmacist had lived before me and it was really interesting reading. People end up on all kinds of drugs that should never be mixed, just because no one is being thorough about checking.

It's a vicious cycle, the pills will continue to work until they don't anymore. Then you get admitted to the hospital again. Then you will get more drugs, just don't be surprised if all the drugs cut 10-20yrs from your life and make you less functional as time goes on.

I've watched psyche drugs destroy someone very close to me, personally I would have preferred the bi-polar symptoms over the side effects from all the drugs. The bi-polar was manageable before the drugs, now I'm confident she suffers from some permanent brain damage .

If you can't get access to some good cannabis I would highly recommend you find some or start a garden.
OR you can continue to take expensive poison peddled by people who could give a shit about your well being.

I'm certainly not saying that Cannabis is the cure-all panacea. From personal experience my opinion is those drugs just do more harm then good and will only make your psychotic symptoms worse over time while creating a dependence.

Psychiatrists can not give you real answers just meds . . . .

Good Luck Brotha :peace:
