The just cause usually has to have some gain tied to it. We can't save the world bro. There are so many of these types of things that go on all the time around the world. We could pick and choose which people we're gonna save but the decision to go to war must not be taken lightly. And governments have always had the need to pick their battles. In Iraq perhaps it was oil but maybe it had to do with stability in the region which would have a far more devestating economic impact, not just to the U.S. but to the entire world, if that region descends into chaos. There have always been people who demonstrate and protest against war. I think we need this group in order to help remind us that going to war is a decision which can't be taken lightly. People will be killed. Property will be destroyed. There will be unintended consequences, some which can be predicted and some which can't. Some food for thought.

Exactly. It's easy for someone that isn't on the front lines to support war. It's funny how the people that are the most trigger happy, never actually do the shooting.
People are very good at disconnecting themselves and not feeling any emotion when it comes to war.
