Organic pest control?

I have my first case of spider mites and I'm wondering if there are any organic solutions to my problem. Any advice...??

peel a clove or two of garlic put them in the soil pointy end up leave it out of the soil about 1/4". Can't say if it works. I did it on my last grow but also used 50/50 alcohol water. and sprayed twice a day for 3-4 days. Also sprayed hotshot in nooks and cranys in the room. "removed plants to use hotshot. but never got them again.

Daddy long legs. They make tiny webs, they CANT bite humans and are a natural insecticide.

Then again, im all about spiders in my house because i hate flies. I do however remove brown recluse spiders, for obvious reasons.

hey jade have u tryed neem oil or pyrethrum? both of these are organic one is made from the neem tree and the other is made from chrysanthemum flower both of which are used to make insecticides out of. u can google it and search for info on both thers tons of useful info on em

I use azatrol, it's a neem extract, works great for spider mites and is omri listed

Yes actually. I picked up some pyrethrum the first day I noticed the little buggers and tried it out on one plant just to make sure it wouldn't harm it. It seems to be working without any ill effects. So let's just hope it works on all of them! Do you know if I'm able to use it up until harvest, or is there a cut off date I should be aware of?
