he burned down his house and is currently staying in an apartment(covered by her fire protection insurance).
He's a junky, nonetheless. But I'm thinking he was just really bored this morning..

Well, I was drinking with him last night.. I only had a couple tastes of his liquor. i dont know why someone would wake up and start drinking. didn't everyone learn that's an alcoholic?

he's out of rehab 2 times, an ex-opiate head. then he was on the methadone clinic, now hes off that and all he does is drink a whole lot. or take methadones he buys from people.
i found a bag of syringes and a spoon in his jacket pocket. he left that shit on my bed while i was sleepin. he'll melt anything down and bang it.. adderall, dilaudid, coke... anything. i think thats probably how he burned his house down
he always askin me to make some meth. he's like "Dude, ALL im saying is you can take a box of sudafed and make 100 bucks"
he probably tried to make a mini meth lab/shake and wake method and it blew up his room.

I agree completely..... but drinking with him is ENABLING him. That's not support.
I have a relative who is an alcoholic (don't we all
) and a few years ago he was in a terrible one vehicle accident because he knocked off a bottle of Vodka (sound familiar?) and then DROVE over to see ME. He never made it. It cost him about 100k and vision out of one eye permanently.He still drinks....
But not at my properties. I laid the law down on him as gently but firmly as I could. In his mind though, and he is a frugal bastard, despite all that alcohol has cost him (several DUI's earlier + the accident), in his mind, booze is his BEST FRIEND.
And that's how I refer to his drinking now.... "hey, how's ur best friend doing?"
It's subtle but the point gets driven home hopefully. I've done all I can do for him, he has to help himself.

i was in your situation for the longest time, There was this person that was one of my best friends that i had known since i was 2. I moved a few times and so did she but some how we always ended up back in the same place and run into each other and start hangin out again, But everytime she came back she was just worse and worse to the point where it got so bad that i had to tell her to go fuck herself and never talk to me again. I started hangin out with her agaiN like a 2 years ago and about 6-7 months ago like she just got so out of control bein a coke and pill head that i told her shes a peice of shit and to forget my number. Its definently a hard thing to do to watch this person you have known your whole life turn into a peice of shit and not be able to get thru to them to shit, But when it comes down to it there most likely not gonna change and they can only drag you down in the end.
I guess i can only say this... Do you honestly wanna be associated with a peice of trash like that? just my .02 cents
