Hi all!!!
So what the heck i decided to try this "hobby" out ! haha
I germinated about 6 NL seeds and 2 afghan's.
Started with POOR LIGHT SOURCE (this led to 3-4 inch stems (purple & thin) good leaf color though.. Stems recently fell down about boom there they went
-this was with no fan, POOR light source.
SOO yesterday i have 2 seedlings around 3 inches that are propped up with a ligth fan and decent light (42 inch cool white fl + 2 100 watt incan lights about 6 inches away "heat isnt too strong" HOPING that the light brings these seedlings straight up again. if they dont die i will transplant them into a bigger pot and bury them up to the leaves. My other 4 seedlings are hopfully going to absorb the new light source and grow stronger (they are no bigger than 1/2 inch above soil) (pics are coming) This control group is strictly for a cheapo light setup that i created from desktop lamps and a workbench light! haha
Tomorrow i am receiving 2 LED boards thati have created a 4 X 3 ft box for that will mount up top and i will have about 3 seedlings (dont want to overdo it) in there to run against the other light source. I will be putting the LED about 2-4 inches away from the plant to HOPEFULYL prevent those lil ladys from flopping on their heads!
Should i discard the 2 that bent and fell over? or keep propped and transplant with the new light source just keeping it CLOSE..
Thanks guys! This is fun and interesting! Feel free to rip me apart! haha
