Nice looking grow Reaper... +rep

So you want to get a perpetual harvest started?

Are you familiar with Al B. Fuct's Get a harvest every 2 weeks ?

I follow it pretty close and have great results! :hump:

No reason why you can't do it with soil... but it may take a bit longer for each cycle...

Cheers... :joint::peace:

Hell yeah gypsy bush, thanks for that. Ive seen something similar before but after this harvest i think that is what i should do.
I still have another empty 5x12 room to use.

But here are some better picks, one is just a side branch to show the amount of hairs it has from 3 days of flowering

You grow in soil... so I would say the best way would be to stick your cuttings on Rapid Rooter plugs...

Take your clipping from the plant using a SHARP instrument... you want to make sure you are CUTTING and not crushing the stem... re-cut if necessary...

Some people say to cut at a 45 degree angle, I do, as it makes it easier to "stab" the clone on the plug...

You should "scar the last 1/2" of the stem and apply a rooting powder/gel...

Stab the clone on the Rapid Rooter Plugs and keep them moist...

You should see roots in 14 days... the just transplant it to your pot...

Now... a proper agricultural heat mat, with a thermostat, will speed up the process...

Some use domes and spray the clones..

My take on it is to give the clone as much as it needs to SURVIVE...

Keeping them a bit thirsty will encourage roots to grow and seek more water...

I use Ebb Flow with hydroton and Rockwool cubes... so it is a bit different...

Have you ever considered Ebb/Flow?

I keep a larger than needed tank so the solution is a bit more stable, and I can leave my op alone for a week with no issues... there are always risks of power outages and equipment failure, but I think it is all highly manageable...

Just a thought.. I won;t try to "convert" you or anything.. but you could set up a small, cheap DIY and see the results for your self...

And if you really want to get down and dirty with the cloning...

Just take a cutting and stick in a pot with some dirt... it'll root... it'll root just fine....

Blah..... Blah.... shorter quote.

Yeah Ill deff go do that and il pick up those plugs n shit soon, with a mat. If I start cloning, I dont want to cheap out so ill buy everything i need. THe only thing im confused about is exactly what leaf do i cut off? does it matter if its a fan leaf or not?

remember, a mat without a thermostat may cook your clones...

As for what leaves...

You clone branches.. not leaves..

You can actually get a fan leaf to root, but it will just be a leaf and die...

You need NODES, or branches...

This thread is about hydro and RW cubes, but it may give you some ideas...

We are still cutting the same parts from the same plant...

I hope this helps...

A batch of clones in rockwool

Here is one of Al's clones... perfect lollipop platform... just root and flower...lol....

Hey Fuzzy I didn't read the whole thread because I'm a lil tipsy. But I wanted to ask you about your Butterscotch Hawaiian x G13 Haze. Is this your first time with this strain and/or what do you think of then so far? I am growing 2 at the moment. Both are very small but growing. It will be one month on the 7th and my blueberry is twice the size. The only difference besides the height is the number of nodes which is one and that's only because blueberry sprouted first. Did your butter's grow the same way or are mine just short?

Thanks gypsybush, helpin me out allot.
but yo blessed, their doing great. I dont have any experience with any other strains at all, and this is my first time with the g13. But I can tell you that I havent seen a thing wrong with any of them. But all of my plants pretty much grow the same height and shit, just the big bangs have like so many nodes.
What do you have them growing in?

You are welcome...

Also worthy of mention is the fact that we SOGers in Ebb/flow pack our trays with 5" square pots...

The norm for SOG lollipops is 4 plants per square foot...

Not sure, but I can't imagine why you couldn't do the same in soil...

Yeah, I'm using soil too. I work as much as it is, with that hydro setup I'd never get out :( I enjoy getting home at night and spending some time in the garden, but come on. Its my first time growing them too(with no previous knowledge of or hearsay) and I got them from someone I had met that instant. I still don't know much about them after a month except that they have nice dark green leaves and grow bushy. I grew a G13 Haze two grows ago and it grew quite the same way, short and bushy. I guess mine are G13 dominant? I just can't wait for the curing to be done!!! lol I'm afraid though that since they are growing so short that I won't get a decent amount of bud without vegging for much longer than I wanted to. Good Luck on ya grow!
