Passed through there one time years back. Think it was in July or August. Hot, humid and skeeters the size of mallards. And more Scandahooligans and Swedes than you can shake an UglyStik at. I hear it can get mighty cold out that way so I think I'll keep my travels to south of the Mason-Dixon and west of the ssippi, thank you very much.

Yeah, that dirt farming was real good to us for years. But awhile back I was out fishing and ran into a character that I'll refer to as the Perfessor. Now this here scallywag and I hit it off and sooner rather than later we're sharing one another's scoobie snacks and he had some of the BEST herb,,,,,,,

Got to talking, invited him over for a day of good smoked ribs, some brisket and a few Newcastle's along with a little Makers Mark just to loosen up his tongue a bit and get him talking about this DWC.

To make a long ass winded story a tad shorter I was hooked on what he said and gladly accepted his offer of supervision. Well sir, I'll tell you what. This Perfessor feller is one sharp tack. It's taken some time and I've blown the Benjamins like a Democrat running for re election.

But it's worth every friggin minute and dime I've spent brotha.

my brainpan. One thing thats been bothering me got under my saddle blanket today and I'm gonna fix it.

Drainage. Every time I flushed the coolers I had to drop a pump in the Igloo's and attach it to the drain hose through the floor under the shed dumping in the flower bed. It took too long.

Igloo has a standard size hose fitting and I'mma gonna rig up a gravity drain tonight in the big units. I don't think I have the room to do a T drain between the big Igloos so I'll have to live with attaching the drain hose to the Igloos one at a time until the next round.

Digging around in the garage today while looking for parts for this and Red came out to see what kind of mischief I might be getting into. She asks me what I'm looking for and I decided to go for a reaction.

And thats where the trouble began,,,,

Told her I was looking for a forbit that I needed to get some work done and asked her if she'd seen it. Nope, says shewhomakesmehappy, what's it look like?

Suppressing a wicked grin, I tell her it's about 6 inches long and has a ninety degree bend to the left with a leather strap on it and it's painted orange.

Gotta love her, Red looked for about 40 minutes before I busted up and told her there was no such thing as a "forbit".

I'll pay for that one later.

My neighbors didn't really mind the aromas. They have to get up over a 9 foot fence to see in. And they have, just to see how many skunks died in my yard, but none of them have ever said a word about it. The main reason I moved it inside is because of the air traffic overhead. Every damn News Copter, Coast guard Copter, Police Copter, Fire Copter and every known small engine airplane fly's over my house, I kid you not. And in 5 years in the same spot they never once bothered me.

how to take a decent picture with 2k watts worth of artificial Sun lighting up the room.
So I pull out the trusty Revo P's and scootch on out to the shed for a photo opp.

Hell I even impress myself sometimes. This idea worked so well I went in and woke Red and her two little bodyguards with an overzealous "Eureka"! It worked!

Well sir, ol' Red lifts an eyelid bout halfway and gives the command to her two henchdawgs to "git'em". She's none too happy with my little Einstein moment and is more concerned with her sleep cycle.

So the pics came out better than I had hoped. The idea bloomed and here is the fruit of that thought.

Got my drain situation figured out and am now a much happier camper than I was yesterday.

Yeah, I've heard that from the Redheaded wonder myself. And one day it'll catch up to me but it's like I've always said, it just makes life a tad bit more interesting when ya pull the tail on the Tiger. Just as long as I zig when she's leading me for a zag shot ol' Boomer'll be ok. Long as the knee holds up.

And it's like I said, the shed is a work in progress. There are so many ideas going off in my head I feel like I'm working for ol' Tom Edison.

I've been thinking about the noise from the shed for a while now and I really need to quiet the Air Pump noise. Well sir, I've got twelve stones in each cooler. Lots of vibration and noise coming from them. Time to fire one up and figure it out. So I fire up a fattie, sit and think, and all of a sudden it hits me,,,,,,,

Rubber washers on the Air Stones! Damn! Simplicity at it's best. Place two washers on each stone, one on each end and viola! Whisper quiet!

Where the hell is Red when these damned ideas of mine work?

Go to lowes or home depot. Take a stone with ya and find the washer that fits and buy em up. You'll be amazed at the difference.

I have taught a couple of friends to grow, and they dont care about trying new things, or ways... its all about "money".

Nah, Red ain't quite that violent. I could say it was from my days playing Hockey for Herb B. but that won't fly too far. Truth be told I fucked up and caught some shrap from an rpg in fallujah. Guess I should have zagged instead of zigging. Yeah, fucked it bad enough to cash me out after 28 in. Good news is they let me keep one nad, the other had to go. So I now sashay down the street with a limp and a tendency to veer left.
