Without getting into too much detail, i had a defective item in my order. i called up, and without question they sent me a replacement. highly reccomend. I spent less than 3 minutes total time on the phone getting the situation figured out.


Also my inital order came VERY quickly.

i couldnt figure out if these "Review" type threads were permissted here even, so sorry if this is any kind of rule violation.

tony backs his products and we do recomend him however these failures are routine, almost EVERY order has some sort of defect. this is the nature of cheap products.

however the customer service recieved is far more valueable then anything he sells.

I totaly agree!
I bought a grow kit and it was missing a few things,
without question they mailed me my stuff within a wk.

I found a hydro shop like a mile from me or I'd still
order from HTG without worrie.

Same products you can find elsewhere, they just sell it for less...

excellent experience, price was awesome and super fast shipping, they were actually out of the light system i ordered, and sent me an upgraded one at no extra cost, i got everything i was supposed to and nothing was defective (so far lol)
 
Hey, they sound way bettter than Inside Sun!! I ordered a 400 mh from them1 1/2 weeks ago. they weren't specific as to which upgrade hortilux bulb they shipped, and when I told them exactly what I wanted they said they ordered me something else, again without saying what that might be. I figured the shipping charges on their site calculator and then they claimed it was actually twice that to ship to me. They didn't have listed items in stock (like...bulbs..ballasts..!) They then took an extra unauthorized $25 out of my card. I decided to make it simple for them so i told them just to ship the standard mh and bulb, again ballast not in stock, so still promissing to ship tomorrow. Now they seem to think I will have a $25 credit with them, even though the price of the item they claim to be shipping (we'll see) is $180 with shipping, and they took $205 on my card initially plus another $25 after that. I sure wish i would have ordered from HTG!! Next week i'm getting a 400 hps, needless to say, i'll be very reluctant to order from Inside Sun.

sry to hear that shit.. i ordered my HPS from HTG.. no problems @ all... good luck...

I was told to use their return label and call back once shipped on Thursday. Haven't got them to answer their phone since 1 hour after that call. Did a search and it seems common for them to ignore peoples calls when their is a problem. I am one of the unlucky ones

Same happend with me i ordered 8 400 watt hps and the were out and so they sent me 8 hps/mh conversions at no additional cost...Great place i would recomend to anyone.

I ordered a 400watt hps system from HTG supply. Found out it was out of stock four days later when I emailed for a status update.

They asked me if I wanted to wait until they got it in stock for a free MH conversion bulb. I did wait and it arrived a few days later(bumped to 3day select). To my surprise it was the premium grow kit with two MH conversion bulbs and a timer.

I don't normally write reviews but felt I should for all the extra free stuff I got.

If you don't have any problems with the stuff they send I guess you are ok. It is anyone who has a problem, they ignore your calls, ask you to pay shipping on their defective ballast. Listen to the people who have had the problems. Do a search for HTGSupply not answer right here on RIU. Stay the hell away from HTGsupply.

This will be a recurring message until I see something different from this lame company. I will hunt all your threads down and get all of your paid moles threads shot down. I will start joining other forums just to go after your moles there.

(For those who don't know a mole is someone who is given cost or great discounts to come online and say good things about your company.)

let me start by sayin i am not a mole....i am a commercial grower and i also must say i have been ordering from htg for a very long time and they have great prices for one,,and another thing you might want to consider is you get what you pay for...and anytime i have had a messed up order they have been sure to make things right and normally throw in free upgrades or additional items. So i will recomend them to anyone!!!

I ordered a 400w MH/HPS system through them, and I gotta say, I was more than impressed when I received the package. After two or three weeks into the grow, my MH bulb decided to blow & I contacted HTG through their e-mail system. I received a response the same day with a return shipping label. They sent me a new MH bulb for no cost. The service they offer is fantastic. Will definitely buy from them again.

You think they stopped answering the phone just to avoid you?

They are a multi million dollar company, I don't think they shut down to avoid you.
Are you calling the right number, during office hours?

Yeah I have the number programmed in my phone, it has always worked before. I have the correct email. Anyway yeah I am mad and only because of no contact, but seriously it isn't me to get on this kind of thought process. I shouldn't have posted anything it isn't me, I kind of surprised myself how mad I was. Just take my lumps, I am not broke this will hurt but oh well.

Actually this isn't my first order with them and I like Tony when I can get him on the phone. Maybe some people don't work well together. Since you are so sure they are reputable I will just calm down and wait my turn. I bought another light anyway I am no longer in dire straights, so I am sure things will be fine.

I received two tracking numbers this morning for both of the issues I had, in response to my wife. I think my wife is right I am just not patient, I am not a good customer on this aspect. I will let her order from now on, both times I had trouble contacting them she didn't. :? Also their actions this morning put me at ease, that was actions of a reputable company.

HTG is great. I've ordered several times and never had any issues whatsoever. I've also emailed them a few times to ask technical questions and they've responded really fast and answered everything thoroughly. They even give me free lighters with every order. The only downside is they advertise in giant letters that the lighter came from a hydro store so it's not the type of lighter you want to use in public but now I'm just nitpicking...
