Heyy everyone. Ok. Im gonna attempt to take a clone today.. Mind you.. this is my FIRST attempt ever taking a clone.. Sooo wish me luck!! lol

Also.. Mary-J looks great! I think she really enjoyed the 12 hours of darkness... Also.. I gave her her 1st dose of flowering nute. =) I put it at 1/2 strength, because I heard the Shultz All Purpose Plant Food isnt that strong at all, and some people double adn triple the amount it sais to give the plants.. and they do fine.

All of her bud sites are starting to turn lime green color... I think it's kinda cool looking.

I added a better fan in there too. It's a dual fan. I'll take a pic. Right now I have it set on exchange.. sooo 1 side is blowing IN.. and the other side is blowing OUT.. and that way.. I am blowing on Mary-J.. AND Mystery at the same time. I also have an air purifier in there.. Not sure how good its workin.. I found it layin around. so i took it and put it in there.. lol. I havr the Ionizer on too... note sure if that will help..

I was debating for a while wether or not I should take a clone.. and I was gonna just plant a seed 3 weeks b4 she finishes.... but theres good and bad for both ideas.... here they are.. lol

-Taking A Clone-

*Good*
- I know the plant will be short and bushy, just like her mom
- I know for sure it will actually grow!
- It will grow faster than a seed
- I can turn the clone into my Mother Plant

*Bad*
- I've never taken a clone before, and if I fuck it up, then I just cut a bud site off of a good plant.
- I have to take it now, because I can't take it once it starts budding, and Mary-J is gonna be flowering for 8-11 weeks. So the clone is going to be 8-11 weeks old. She's gonna be fucking HUGE!
- I'm using most of my lamps on Mary-J now.

-Planting A Seed 3 Weeks Before Mary-J Finishes Flowering

*Good*
- The seed will only be 3 weeks old, and be ready to start flowering as soon as Mary-J is done
- I won't have to use any extra lights until 3 weeks before May-J's done
- The seed might have better genetics

*Bad*
- What is my seeds don't sprout, like last time?
- If my seeds don't sprout, then I wont have White Widow anymore, unless I spend another $40 on feminized seeds
- If the seeds DO sprout, they might not come out as healthy as Mary-J

ok.. well that's all the reason I can thin kof now. lol. Honestly. I dont know why I just wrote all that. lol. But yeaaa, I already made up my mind anywayz.. I'm going to attempt to take a clone.. I want to try to take the smallest one I can see, cuz I dont wanna take a clone, that would produce A LOT of bud if I had left in on Mary-J.

I will post pics up as soon as I'm done, so you guys can see what I did.

I'm going to see if I can find another timer somewhere, but if not, I may just keep the lights on 24-0.. but if i can find a time, I'll keep the clone on 18-6.

Hey man you have a good pick of the nodes and branches? Post one up so we can take a look.

If you have the branches take a clone or two and save your seeds man. I just had a clone show roots yeaterday 10 days in, no rooting gel or powder. You can do it man!!! Ill take a pic and show ya.

easy as pie just pick a nice healthy one with good leaf structure ..go 4 nodes back then snip at a angle..strait into some water/nute solution and right into the gel/powder root hormone then right into the peat plug (i like em for clones)..spray the leaves down good and spray down the dome.. for the first week spray only leaves then second week spray leaves every other spraying and spray peat plug and leave the dome off half the time forcing it to search for water.. watch for roots to pop out

i got faith in ya man if you can grow that little beauty this is nothing

Hey everyone.. Just wanted to say Thanks guys!! thanks for all the encouragement!! Well, I attempted to take the clone.. I got a bunch of pics of the box the clone is in.. the clone itself.. and Mary-J.

It was a little easier than I thought.. I just looked all around the plant, and found a nice looking branch, and cut it off. Then, I took my razoor blade, and cut the bottom off diagonally.. I also made a few extra slits in the bottom on the stem at a 45 degree angle.

Then I rolled it in the rooting hormone I had.. It was the powder stuff.. I think its called Take-Root?? or something like that. it's Schultz. I tapped all the excess off, and put it in a small pot, with some Miracle Grow:Root Starting Soil.

I put it in the box with a 42 watt Daylight CFL.. and a 32 watt Daylight CFL. I have a small container of water in there with it, and a computer fan too. I put the side of my old computer on top of the box, to block out all the light, and left a little corner open for ventilation. =)

Soooo I was gettin ready to leave.. it was in there for an hour or maybe 2, and I checked on it before I left.. and it was 99 fucking degrees in there!! I was fuckin PISSED!! The clone looked OK... but I was pissed, I only had 2 lights on!!?? Soooo I took the top off, moved the lights around, and put a bigger fan on the top (you cant see the new fan and stuff because I did that right before I left) and the temp immedietly dropped from 99 to 85.

I will be home in the morning.. around 8, and So I will update you guys on how the Clone is doing as soon as I get home.. Hope it will be doin good...

Thanks man.. Means alot comin from someone who built their own nice ass Flowering AND Veg Box.. and is growin a bunch of beautiful plants..

I just started growing the end of last year.. but I've learned A LOT within these past 5 or 6 months.. Can't wait to get a few grows under my belt. =)

its all good we was high and fuckin around .. some forums Ive been on the guys talking about their weed plants call them tomatoes because on some gardening forums you get banned if you talk about growing weed and tomatoes have almost the same nutrient and environment requirements .. actualy if you use tomatoe plant food and tomatoe bloom food you get really good results with our plant of choice..alot of people don't know that..

Ok. Just a quick update on the clone. So far so good. I came in the room this morning.. and the temp in the box was at 78.. not too too bad.. I think it may need to go a little higher tho.. cuz I know clones/seedling need it hot and humid..

When I grew plants in there before.. I had 4 lights on top.. the clamp light.. and a cup of water.. and the temps would be in the 80s.. adn the humidity was always around 70+.. I would look at the walls.. and there would be water droplets all along the walls... But.. I was thinking.. that might have been because I had 6 plants in there.. and they were bushy mother fuckers as well...

I'm wondering if I should switch the lights around.. and put 2 clamp lights on top.. I know I have 1.. just needa find another one.. but idk.. its only been 1 day.. lol. not even 24 hours yet.. soo maybe I'll just give it some time..

The clone is a little droopy.. but I think thats normal.. I have a toothpick in there to kinda hold it up some, and its doing its job. I sprayed in there a couple times already.. to keep it moist.

OK. And now for Mary-J and Mystery.. Mary-J is still looking beautiful. I feel like she really enjoyed that dose of flowering nutes (1/2 strength Schultz - All Purpose Plant Food 10-15-10). She's all perky. Just the way I like it. But seriously.. lol. All her leaves are pointing up.. She just looks really really healthy!!

I am probably gonna water her today.. I will give her some more Flowering Nutes, because the 1st tie I gave them to her.. it was basically just extra water.. I had already watered her with regular water... and after, thought she might need some nutes.. soo I filled the little squeeze bottle (which isnt much water at all.. maybe 8-12 Fl. Ounces. just a guess) with the 1/2 strength Flower nutes.. an dgave it to her.

Soo I will give her the nutes today.... and then next watering give her regular water.. and back and forth.. and once she starts to show some white hairs.. I will up it to full strength.. as long as she's OK with the 1/2 strength on a regular basis. =)

And on to Mystery... She (Hopefully a she) is doing good. only has 2 sets of leaves... still pretty small.. but whatever. lol. like I said.. It's basically a test to see how the weed is.. if It's good I'll grow a full size one next time.

Yeaaaaa... Thats about it. I'll let you know if anything good happens.. or bad.. but hopefully good.
