alright, thats what I thought it was but then I thought since its warm and kick starts wouldnt it be something els and not the plug or is it different when the bikes warm starting it with a dead plug?Fouled plug my guess.
k, thanks and Im pretty sure the jetting is fine cuz it was running good before it just wont start now so I was geussing it was the plug.a lot of times you will get a soot like substance that slowly accumulates on the tip of the plug and will start to lower the plugs performance making it tough to start and still able to run.
yes the carb was my next geuss, does anyone know how to get a clutch cable into the clutch box i cant get the end of the cable in threw the hole?Amateur small engine mechaninc here (drunk atm). Plug is always the start. So easy to check with a deep socket. If not, move on to the carb
my friends crf450 used to do this. his valves were the problem. check em out.Does anyone have any knowledge about fixing dirtbikes here.. I got a 99 Rm125 and Im having problems starting it. If I roll it and put it in gear to start it it will and then once its warm it will kick start, but when its cold it wont kick start?+rep for any help
An RM 125 lacks in the valve department. I guess reed valve could count but it sure ain't no stinking four stroke.my friends crf450 used to do this. his valves were the problem. check em out.
when ever I ride it Iv been keeping it in the power ban I ride it pretty hard all my freinds are always behind meYou're on a two stroke RM125. You need to ride the thing harder. I did that shit yeeeaaars ago on my first bike and gummed up my plug because I was putting around. You gotta keep the rpm's higher on two strokes. Ride the bitch like you stole it, blow out all that gunk by pinnin that bitch. I rarely had spark problems after I figured that out.
Ha! shows how much i know about 2 strokes! An RM 125 lacks in the valve department. I guess reed valve could count but it sure ain't no stinking four stroke.
