stealth cfl grow lighting questions

I decided to get a lil jump on the year and its finally time for bud. I have a grow box with one female running 1 42 watt cfl 6500k and 2 13 watt 2700k cfls. it all puts out about 375 watt light output. is that enough light for good bud. and i mean better than mid.

do you have proper ventilation? paint the walls white to reflect light. you wont get very much probally, maybe 1/8-1/4 dry if your lucky. as long as a plant doesnt get pollinated by a male or a hermie(if its a hermie it will pollinate itself) it will not produce seeds. so alot of the energy that is wasted making seeds(like in schwag and middies) is put into the buds themselves, so although you'll only get a tiny bit if you do it right it should be some good shit.

I would add one more 42; that would put you close to: 60 watts per sq. foot.
Just an estimate from the picture, but you should use that ratio for what ever the scenario. Good luck & good grow......BB

For vegging, I wouldn't go any lower than one 42 watt bulb per plant(as long as they have reflectors). If no reflectors, double it because alot of light will be lost into space.

Btw i have a fridge with alum foil walls and lights as close as possible bout 3 inches and i have fridge fan for ventilation with door slightly cracked during the day keeps it at a good 65 to 75 degrees started veg dec 31 and put on 12/12 about a week and a half ago everythings looking good and im happy with the results

if your thinking about putting them outside you should switch the cycle, otherwise they will get confused on what to do, the 12/12 lighting switch will make it want to flower, then when you put the plant outside the days getting longer tells the plant to revert to veg, a waste of time......as for how much outside could yeild it all depends on the area and how much effort your willing to put into it. find a nice sunny hilliside that gets direct lighting most of the day and dig a hole 3 by 3 feet and toss in some fish guts and stuff like that and then re-fill with high quality soil. if you do that you could get 1/2 a pound or more........

well crap all sounds good except that you said the plant will get confused puttin it outside... I put her on 12/12 like almost 2 wks ago and its already got about 13 bud sites... what exactly do I need to do to get set up to take her outside so i can get her on her way to a half a pound :) well atleast an ounce... please reply

you can throw her back in veg, just dial the timer back to 18/6
there is a bit of risk of hermie, but that's the deal
otherwise finish her flower indoors

i've revegged mature females after harvesting, fresh veg growth pops out of the buds
if your bud sites are small, you should be able to get away with leaving them
on the fimming, i'd avoid that for the moment, it's a stress as is the revegging, so a combination may not be a good idea

Hi Air, I'm thinking that maybe you might want to finish your "current" plant in the "fridge" & get what you get. But for outdoors, I would start fresh, maybe take some clones before your girl gets too far into flower.
Or, get some seeds popping. Remember, indoor & outdoor grow's are 2 very different venues. Again, I wish you,
Good luck & good grow.....BBbongsmilie

makes since... ok 2 important details how small it too small the biggest bud is like popcorn size maybe 1in diameter and height? Also How long should I wait to take her out...

last question 1st, takes a good 2 weeks to get the reveg cycle going, maybe longer
but strains differ, some are likely to reveg easier than others
i can't give you a good answer on the bud size, i mention it because on my mature plant reveg, some of the larger buds became rotten, i clipped clones from the good sites that revegged well
as another poster just mentioned, you could clip branches, and reveg those
so many wrinkles in how you can proceed

sorry bouts all the questions just learning as much as I can. Could I clone her without rooting horomones by making cuts under water and have bubble stone running

my last clones i just stuck in plain dirt, no rooting compound, took a while, but it worked
many growers throw plants into flower to identify females, then reveg those as mothers, kind of a standard practice
but cloning to water is pretty common
