i used cfls for most of my grow but when the sun was bright and shinny i put her in the window and then when the temps outside got to 65 F or above then i would put her outside.

ding ding ding, you are correct. thanks for paying attention brother.

good morning everyone. just a little updat, i'll do pics later. my "lovely lady lumps" is stinking up the whole house. bwahahahaha. and the master kush is supposed to be a strain that does not have a very potent smell. well i tell you what, it smells like a skunk has taken up residents in my house. LMAO good thing i have a huge attic fan that i can turn on and air this mother out.

One of the branches that broke on her when my little girl knocked her over was hanging by a thread. i decided to leave it to see what would happen. and it looks like it is still growing! crazy huh. this poor lady has been through some serious abuse. love you all!

now go and smoke a bowl, i am.

Shes looking great :-) Got to say that I have been shuffling my plants inside and out for years and never had a single issue at all! My plants get used to moving around from young so there's no stress, they LOVE the natural sunlight, I could not deprive them of that :-) Just think in nature, they get days of overcast low light levels followed by days of full sun etc, compliments CFL grows very well, at all stages but especially in mid to late flowering.

there is more to moving plants than just the amount of light....your changing humidity, temperature, natural to artificial light, light intensities, there will also be hitchhikers once in a while that are balanced by other hitchhikers....one day the wrong hitchhiker will hike a little too far away from its natural predators....for example a spider mite may jump on board...which is ok outdoors because a predator to the mite will keep it in balance. now say you take that plant inside before that balance occurs....over nite indoors you will have a big problem come sunrise.

sure you can do it plants will act fine...what i meant to say was you will get better results keeping your plants in one environment constantly. give it a test...try one over the other next time...or for better results do one inside and one out.

i hear ya brother, I meant no disrespect. i actually keep her just inside of an open door with a screen and at night i put her to bed in her box, so she never moves more than a foot from her current location. i have not used cfls in about a month just the natural sunlight. thanks for the insight, brilliant!

We shall have to agree to disagree on this one :-) All I can say is that I have done this for over 12 years with no issues and my plants are fine. I'm very happy with what I produce and thats the bottom line for me. Others must take your well meaning advice onboard and make up their own minds. personally when that powerful growlamp is there to be used I will continue to use it! My plants are not grown in a 'sealed' environment, never have been, I open up every morning and close up each night, works for me, maybe not for others, but I can say from considerable experience that this method works.

Always good to have healthy debate and I take your point :-)
