Alls I can tell you is that when history repeats itself you end up with similar results. I appreciate prop 215, but I think a lot of people have suffered because of the neglects discussed in my previous post.
fail post is fail
your opinions and statements are completely contradictory
now your not even making sense
hear that everyone? IM selfish because i dont want to go spend 200 bucks to legally be able to smoke and grow
that some how makes ME the selfish one
LOL
why exactly are you being so childish about it?
name calling and telling me im selfish because i dont want to spend a week and a half worth of MY money on something that COULD be legal without the huge price?
yeah.... its no wonder your poll is blowing up in your face
explain how im selfish... oh thats right you cant, your just throwing it around
your the one who, in an attempt to make everyone else do the same thing you did, want to keep the consumption of weed illegal for the majority
because you feel the need to be in the special minority
sorry, but in no way can i be called "selfish" because i want marijuana to be legal for ALL, thats the opposite of selfishness, you may want to buy a dictionary
There is more than enough support for the new law, in California, to pass come November. However, Just like Prop 215, it will be only half a victory without Feds agreeing to abide by it or decriminalizing it. So much progress is been made towards legalizing, we must use caution to avoid be pushed backwards. Should everyone have the freedom to grow cannabis... HELL YES! but not at the cost of losing what we have already gained.People who are legitamately worried about actual patients should wholly support the law, making weed way more affordable and acessable. It would have some good regulation behind it for safety (mold, anyone?), unlike now. It would incorporate a whole new demographic of customers, ones who don't want to worry about abiding by strict regulations or punishment. Recreational users won't have to abuse a system for something it wasn't intended for. Maintaining the status quo will only keep commerical grow houses running and the owners of the dispenceries. Micro grows will continue to flourish, and probably even grow for personal use. Not to mention all the revenue that this state could really use. Besides, California will set a trend just like how medical use did. Think legal on a federal level!
I love the thought of smoking my own personal grow with friends while not having to be paranoid about getting a felony. Support!
I think it was like a grow space of 25 sq. ft. and possession of an ounce with no worries. Don't quote me though. It'll also make it so that each county can decide on what will fly. Much like Texas' wet or dry county policy on alcohol. The poll is way too general. Legal how? There are many ways for weed to be legal. If you are talking nationally, any state prop's are probably not going to be the way it ends up.
I dont think it will make it more affordable. Why would the state take over the market and lower the price, they wont, no reason too, that cuts into there revenue. Yes there would be more people smoking which I TRULY do think will lead to a more positive attitude overall in society. I would love to see everyone relaxed tokin it up, we are not ready though.People who are legitamately worried about actual patients should wholly support the law, making weed way more affordable and acessable. This is the CA patients forum....The poll is way too general. Legal how? There are many ways for weed to be legal. If you are talking nationally, any state prop's are probably not going to be the way it ends up.
I think Novembers ballot is scary considering I dont think many people think about the possible consequences of making it legal. There is more than enough support for the new law, in California, to pass come November. If it is LEGAL, why do we have a limit put in place. I can have as many 24 packs of coors. I can have a case of cartons of cigs. They are going to tax the hell out of MJ (NOT bringing the prices down), generate more revenue from arrests from those who have too much, just to let you smoke it on the street. Not worth it...I think it was like a grow space of 25 sq. ft. and possession of an ounce with no worries. Don't quote me though. It'll also make it so that each county can decide on what will fly. How should it be legal.Okay.... but the OP never says what state he is talking about....and then gives the impression that it could be a national issue.
IF, and I say IF, weed goes national.... you can FORGET any of the current props as templates. They will not be the way weed is legalized nationally.
Oh my bad... didn't see the Cali header. Not my business...I will bow out.
I'm a Cali MMJ patient, and I say legalize it. I don't care about the tax revenue or the clubs...it should be legal for all adults, period. Looooong overdue.
