im almost certain it is lockout due to too low of PH

in soil cal and mag are not absorbed with a PH under 6.5. adding the urine probably greatly lowered my PH and i think that is the culprit

I was curious about that urine??? No experience

I would go with Espoma, but don't think walmart carries it (I know Lowes does) don't anything about Canadian Tire?

but anything with a low NPK and no moisture control or time release food will work

ok.. how long should i have the light on them a day?

i got a growlab 80 and using a 150 watt hps lamp at which height should i start to flower my clones and how much taller would they get and how much more yield?

from what ive read here they will grow about 3/4's higher from what you already have they grow alot in flowering. so it really depends on how much room you got.


My question: i just bought soma molasses when should i feed? when they wake up or go to sleep? day or night? and how much? and do i mix with water? thx...

You mix molasses 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and can either do with every watering or just when you feed or at waterings inbetween feeding, it is really up to you, molasses ismore beneficial to the soil than the plant but does have nutes that the plant uses

If anyone can help...I'd be thankful.
I am having some RF interference from my 400W ballast to the light. It is causing my continuous TDS sensor in my 10 gallon DWC to go crazy. Lumatek says their products are RF shielded and mine is the latest one (purple). I doubt it is the yield master II reflector as it is specifically made for HID's. My area is 3' x 3' x 4' and stealth is paramount so moving something outside that area aint gonna happen. Anyone know of some RF shielding material or what I should do? I saw this product: http://www.mgchemicals.com/products/841.html. Think it will work?

whats good guys, im getin rdy to start my first grow. its outdoors, in a small clearing in the woods. that gets lots of sunlight from about 8am till 530 pm. i alrdy set up a fence and everything. I dont have any hands on exp. with growing. Ive read plenty of growers guides and some advice from people who have grown before. Iet me just say that before you guys try and help me out that im on a super tight budget. I lost my job bak in November and only have rent money for my mom. So nothin pricy if possible. I got 10 seeds that im gona start germinatin this friday. I got 2 21 Liter bags of Miracle Grow - Organic Compound. my buddy gave the seeds from his grow and his buds pretty good, no idea wat strain it is. Anyway, once the seeds sprout little roots im gona fill up 10 party cups with the MG and have holes from drainage, Now once i got them in party cups, do i just make sure they get plenty of water and sunlight? Ill save transplanting to the permanet soil for later.

question on LST, plants are around 1' , 4 to 5 weeks old, still dont know sexes. Im gonna start to flower and im wondering if I should keep lsting and tying , just keep plant walking around a little? Should I tie off shoots too? Is it ok to clone when sex shows , like 2 weeks into flowering? Will clones veg ok after switch? Im gonna try to scog , I dont have much room. Thanks.

I recall reading somewhere that the combination of HPS and Metal Halide for flowering produces healthier plants than just HPS for flowering. Is there any truth in this?

Did the light/ballast come pre-assembled or did you have to "put it together"? as an electronics tech I would check all connections for anything loose?
you may also be able to use a portable AM radio to better determine what part of the light it is coming from, tune the radio off chanel so just makes noise then move it around parts of the light to see if the noise changes
There are parts where that spray might work and parts where you can't use it at all ie; the basllast case which is a heatsink or the actual light socket
in the end your best bet may be shieling the TDS thingy?

sounds like your all set minus the MG soil, which IMO is a bad thing

all you have to do is change the light times to 12/12 and feed veg nutes for the first 2 to 3 weeks (during the stretch)

Your better off taking clones to flower, to sex em

you can take clones during the first few weeks of flower but they take longer to revert and root

I would advise taking clones now and continueing with the LST until the clones show sex

this is true, a multi spectrum is better! Lots of growers do this,,,Me I just use CMH

PS> not that I am an advocate for MG , in fact hate the s@#t ! It is nitrogen rich basically.... and in most cases if used properly will cause stretch.

i swear, for everytime 10 people that say MG is ok, another 10 say its a plant killer

it doesn't kill persay, but it does fuck up growth to a point that you just shouldnt use it.
