As I already said,,,,I cut no leaves, I believe in having a garden that is adjustable to accommodate plant growth

and know that if you HAVE to that the plant will adjust to it by regrowing them in some fashion which stunts other wanted processes

also for your reading pleasure I have put most of my research threads into post in my new blog (Ridleme's Nuggets sig link) makes easier to read and find

Stop stealing my pics and some of my info that i see on your "Riddleme's Nuggets sig link".

I have never stolen your pic's or info,,,,the 10 pic's I posted as being helpful are all from this forum posted hundreds of times that I collected as I was reading, didn't get them from you (or any of your post)
and the info is stuff I have either written or found on a web page, what are claiming I have taken???

I don't really need "help", just looking for an opinion more or less. I'm still definitely a noob, almost finished my first cfl grow and I probably wont get more than 1/4 ounce off of my single plant because I fucked up bad and killed all the others... but anyway...

Once I get another grow under my belt and have some cash to spare, I'd like to build a nice little 2 sided grow box. I'd probably have 4-6 23w cfl's in one side for vegging, and one 150w hps in the other for flowering. I'd like to have 2 plants on both sides at all times (always taking clones so I don't need to worry about male/hermy seeds). I probably wouldn't grow the plants to be more than 2 feet tall (veg for ~2 months?). Assuming I don't fuck up (too bad), how much could I expect to get off of two 2 foot tall plants under a 150w hps? I'd like to be able to have a continuous cycle going eventually so I'm never without bud :p Does this sound like a good setup? How much heat can I expect from a 150w hps? Also, assuming the plant is healthy, do they really grow 3x their original size in flower? So I'd need the box to be 6ft tall if I started with a 2ft plant? My current plant didn't get any bigger (taller or wider) at all after I put it into flower (aside from the buds, of course). So what's the deal with that?

i guess threads that say "who needs help" means i talk to myself
StreetLegal started this thread he is the hydro guy, he asked me to join him to help soil growers, I have said this several times he is in Austrailia which means he sleeps when we are awake (in the US) there was someone that chimed in for one of your questions earlier (you may have missed it they didn't quote you)

I'm happy to talk with you I'm just sitting here watching a movie but I know absolutely nothing about rockwool,,,,,,sorry

sorry no, I do know that ph is more critical in hydro but that is about it

depends on how your planning on growing, both ways will work

Its one or the other and i would choose soil. Coco is not meant to be mixed with soil as its a completelly different medium and requires different nutes than soil.

you'll never know how much to expect from 2 plants, it's all about the genetics, some strains will yield more han others, even under the exact same conditions...if the chambers of your box are only big enough to accomodate2 plants, you can probably grow in 2 week intervals, so once you hit your 1st harvest, you'll be harvesting every 2 weeks after that...you can expect maybe a 5degree F, increase in temp, than your ambient temp...the amount of growth that happens during the flowering, will also depend strongly on genetics...and some won't even double in size...

curling under you say??? i'm not too sure, as I have only 1 semi-successful hydro grow under my belt, but i know that 6 inch rock wool cubes, have really bad ph problems, takes a sample of water straight from the rockwool, and i'll bet it's pretty high compared to your rez ph...

thats kind of what i was thinking. so in order to lower it should i just flush the rock wool with lower PH ' d water? and how do you flush 6 inch rock wool blocs?

idk, as i've never used 6 inch rockwool, only the 4 inch, which don't seem to have that many ph problems...but a few of my buddies have used them, buti'm not too sure how they corrected it? i'll try asking, but right now, i'm clueless! sorry...

They need to be transplanted and 2 plants in one pot is a VERY BAD idea, you would just be trading one problem for another

Hello. I am planning on taking some clones from a mother, using Rockwool. Do i soak the Rockwool cubes in ph water for couple of hours then clone. What should the PH be ?

Thanks

Farmers Almanac put May 10th to 14th as the time to plant tomatoes this year, there is a link to thier website planting calendar earlier in this thread
