So I have set up a grow for the winter. I will be growing 7 plants in aero - strain is Pitbull. I have never smoked or seen this but it came from the medical club with rave reviews.
I will also have two plants in soil - the were bonzai mothers from a friend, one OG Kush and one Herrajuana. These plants were mited up pretty good and have been chopped to shit from all the clones taken from them, but I have cleaned them up and killed the mites and gave them new soil.
I transplanted them into some 5 gallon pots using Ocean Forest potting soil. They look a little sad right now due to travel and transplant shock.. I am sure they will spring back just fine. The Avid and Neem combo usually makes the plants look bad for a few days anyway but that is better than fucking spider mites.
Specs:
2x 600w HPS with Hortilux bulbs in vented Sun System hoods
Odor sock with 6 inch can fan for exhaust.
6 inch intake fan from outside fresh air. I have a thermostat and fan controller hooked up to these and will be adding my CO2 tank to it.
GH Aero32 with only 3 tubes - a modified manifold and res - this will house the 7 Pitbulls.
I had to get a space heater in there for lights off time, the temp dropped pretty low.
I will be using the Fox Farm's 6 part organic feeding schedule for the two soil plants and GH 3 part with some Cal/Mag, Hydroguard, and Diamond Nectar added for the hydro set up.
I just dropped the rooted clones in and turned everthing on, seems to be running perfectly so far.
Temps at 75 - I barely added any nutes - about 300 PPM but I will be ramping those up slowly. I plan on keeping them on an 18/6 schedule for a few days to maybe a week then I will flip them to 12/12.
That's about all I can think of right now.. I am pretty tired from setting this thing up all morning.
