check out google videos. theres some great ones out there man.
it would be better to keep them off for 24hr. because it will also help induce flowering some ppl keep their lights of for as many as 36hr. before putting on 12/12 schedulei have a lighting question posted a thred but trying to do this tonight, i want to go 12/12 they are on 18/6 going off at 11 tonight. i want to run them on at night so shoul i let them go dark for 24 hrs to come back on at 11 pm tomorrow night , or let them stay untill 11 am tomorrow morning for a total of 30 hrs on ?? witch way would be best ? thank you for any help
i am growing in a field a few minutes away from my house but i dont know how to take 5 gallons of water with me cos i dont have a car[/QUOTE
dont know wat to tell ya look for a creek or somthing running through the woods,if not fill up a 5 milk jugs and throw em in a duffle bag(if you never get spotted entering the woods)
6 is a bit much for a 400, you should keep em small and you should water for plenty of runoffmy 6 plants are now 4" tall and have 10 leaves not including cytoledon(sp?) they are under 18-6 scedule with a 400w hps the room temp is 78-80 and humidty 35-40 they are sitting in 5 gal containers.....any idea how much i should water? do these measurments add up to a good grow? will i be able to flower 6 under 1 40ow hps?
Sorry without pic's it is only guessing and that won't really help you, could simply be a weak seedlingSorry, I don't have any pictures available so I’ll try to describe my problems as accurately as possible. I’m growing three seeds of feminized white widow that I got from Attitude (two are G-13 and one is Dinafem) and I got them all to germinate. Now my problem is now that they’re sprouting they have the first set of like round leaves and the new arrowish leaves that are coming in seem to be rotted. Like literally brown and gross are the only words I can use to describe it. The first arrow leaves are barely there but still I’m pretty sure this is inhibiting new leaf growth. If anyone could tell me what exactly the problem is and how to fix it that would be great. All the other seeds I have growing are doing fine including Serious Seeds White Russian, Barney’s G-13 Haze, Nirvana Master Kush, Vulkania V2.0, and Dinafem Blue Widow so I’m pretty sure it’s not the growing environment.
You can just flip em there is no best way as the extended dark period is not neededi have a lighting question posted a thred but trying to do this tonight, i want to go 12/12 they are on 18/6 going off at 11 tonight. i want to run them on at night so shoul i let them go dark for 24 hrs to come back on at 11 pm tomorrow night , or let them stay untill 11 am tomorrow morning for a total of 30 hrs on ?? witch way would be best ? thank you for any help

in a bucket??? or perhaps use a NEW gas can (that has never had gas in it)i am growing in a field a few minutes away from my house but i dont know how to take 5 gallons of water with me cos i dont have a car
they don't need light till they pop out of the soili have a sun system 150w hps light. i have two stress bagseeds and one kush bagseed that started showing taproot using the paper towel method so i took some dirt from my dads patio garden where hes growing ferns and i planted the seeds closer to the surface. anyways i poured room temprature brita filtered water, dampening the soil and poked medium sized holes on the bottom for drainage. i have saran wrapped the top of the cup and rubberbanded it which im going to open every few hours for fresh air. im wondering how long to leave the light for and how far away.. thats my whole setup right now so any advice would help since this is my first real experiance. LA_trap
with the hps i have a 400w kept at 18" away so with the 150 i think right where you have it should be fine 12-14"....... but why do you have saran wrap on the top???its a good foot maybe 14 inches from the soil right now by the way and i can also see very fine water mist on the underside of the saran wrap
umm i just thougt it would help with the humidity since my clock said it was dry in the room as opposed to normal or humid ill take it off if it jus sounds stupid, just me trying to take initiative. OOOh also a seed i planted next to my dads plants popped up. i got too excited and carefully took it out the pot and now its in its own cup under the light. i didnt damage the root but i have a feeling its gonna die on me. but it was knda cold the last three days and the sun doesnt even hit my side of the condo so i think its a fighter. but then again i dont know shitwith the hps i have a 400w kept at 18" away so with the 150 i think right where you have it should be fine 12-14"....... but why do you have saran wrap on the top???
thats what i ended up doing thank you for the reply immaking3it would be better to keep them off for 24hr. because it will also help induce flowering some ppl keep their lights of for as many as 36hr. before putting on 12/12 schedule
its all up to you man, you ARE God to these plants. Veg for as long as you want w/ at least a 18/6 light cycle then (whenever you wish) turn them light over to 12/12 and that'll induce flowering. You want to wait until preflowers are showing (able to tell the sex of the plant) before you induce though. Moving them out to the sunlight is nominal. even if you put them back inside. You'd know if they weren't liking it.Hey I have indoor plants that I take outside during the Day for Sunlight cause I am using 4 150 watt equivalent CFLs and two of those Under Cabinet Grow Lights that Walmart Sells for 12 bucks each
I dont have Bugs or any other Problems I was just wondering if I am damaging or stressing the plants too much
My Plants are about 2 number 2 Pencils tall and I have had them for 2 months They are not super thick or full but I was wondering on any tips. Should I keep taking them inside and outside also i give them 24/7 light is it time to go 12/ 12 for Light and darkness
This is my 1st time every growing anything
Thanks I noticed the plants I put indoor grew better than the outdoor ones actually but then they didnt grow much so I transplanted to larger pot and started taking in and out and saw a difference but i figured it was more due to Pot size than the in and outits all up to you man, you ARE God to these plants.
