Help With Cloning Plz...

alright well im having trouble cloning, hopefully someone can help me.. well i have tried every thing from cloning with soil, rockwool, water, a bubble cloner and i have got nothing to root...well i have a 20 watt plant and aquarium light on them, i do use rooting powder, right now they are in a humidity dome in rockwool cubes, that is in a wooden treasure chest so it is hidden. i first thought maybe there not getting enought air but with the humidtiy dome the dont get much any ways. i have soaked the rockwool in 5.5 ph water. i do not have a heating pad yet. temps are at like low 70's could my problem be fixed with a heating pad?my main question is having temps of low 70's will that not let them root. if you have any tips or ideas plz let me here them.. thanks..
 
i cut the top off coke bottles ,add soil/perlite, get clones , dip in root powder, stick in the soil in the plastic bottle, then place a clear bag over the top, and hold on with a band. dont water, just spray every day, and leave under lites , untill rooted, works every time.
you can also root clones in a cup of water, the roots just come out the bottom of the cutting, if left in water.
 
i have one in a cup in soil, ill put a bag over it like you said, i have tried the water method but it didnt work, so i was wondering if my temps are to low. do you know what your temps are? thanks..
 
yup im clonin in a cup of water... just keep light out of the water resivour of the trimmin...and i put a tupperwear thing over it 2 make a dome... mines doing good! actually growing new growth... even though that is not what i want... I WANT ROOTS!
 
o ya i have no problem with getting new growth all my clones get new growth but none get roots.. someone that was sucessfully cloned alot if you could tell me your temp. it would help alot thanks..
 
ya i have tried that lol i have read just about everything on cloning and have tried everything nothing works for me either i suck or something idk.. hopefully its because the temps arent high enough. i guess ill see if the heating pad will help lol thanks for the help
 
alright ill try to find some of that is it a rooting copund or a nute or what? and do any places like lowes carry it?

It says its a growth hormone. Will keep plants alive no matter what you do to them. I bought mine at a hydro store, but I have heard of other places like walmart having it. Hard to find if you live in canada. as I do.
 
alright well i will be heading to walmart and lowes and all the local stores, unfortantly for me there is no hydro store close to me
 
if new growth is showing up and roots are NOT showing thats bad. too much stored food in the leaves of the plant.
 
ya i would also really like to hear the solution to this? would it be to not feed nutes a couple days before you take a clone? you should you just give it plain water then take your cuttings?
 
i just use the cheap cloning powder, from the s.market. you have to make the domes air tight, and dont water,just spray a little every day, also trimm the leafs, so the clone can concentrate on roots not leafs. good luck. when you have covered the top of the container/bottle, then, make sure there is condensation in the container. and the roots may follow.
 
eh hem... i beg 2 differ that growth is bad... i went and looked at my clone and it has 3 lil roots sprouting... two from tha actually cut and one from an abrasian i made purposely when puttin into the water... so growth is good... i was thinkin that couldnt be rite... cause my other clones just died if they didnt root. mine is actually growing out and up... and this is all in about 4-5 days...
 
btw, i use the arrowhead tap i have... it has correct PH rite from the tap... so thats all i did. and i didnt use no growth hormone or nuttin... and can i put the growth hormones on my buds?!?!??!?
 
damn, yeah i was thinkin about getting a humidifier or sumtin... but my roots are comin in... i just switched my clone 2 24 hours on tha Flouro.
