clones taken 17 days into flower, to prove a point

This is to put my two cents in about clones taken while mommy was in flower. These were taken 17 days into flower using 1 tsp pro veg in a gallon of 5.5ph water. I cut them off and did the 'ol 45 or so degree cut, dipped in rootech cloning gel, stuck firmly into my soaked rockwool cubes and put into a cheap clone dome (7.00$). then i fire up my three very powerfull extremely bright 20watt under counter wal mart grow lights. I have never taken a clone that did'nt root, and only 1 has ever died, (expirement). The whole set-up start to finish was around 60.00 bucks. 30.00 lights, 15.00 rootech, 7.00 tray w/lid, and 8.00 for rockwool cubes and ph down. i have made about 20-40 out of this root gel so far and it does not look like i used any. The yellowing clones were not taken during flower, all other pics were. The large girl was taken 21 days into flower and flourishes in a dwc system now. Usually there is 5-10 clones at a time but this is just to prove a point to someone.

What was the point. 17 days into flowering they would just be starting to show sex, was this supposed to be hard to do?? VV

k guys i think the point was about auto flowering strains, slightly diffrent i think. I will be excited to see how the experiment goes either way:)

I dont think so, could be wrong, but he didnt say anything about autoflowering, and wouldnt 17 days flowering for an autoflowering strain be just plain old day 17?

it's about a few people here in several threads that said not to do it because it takes to long to root and to start veggin. 2 people especially. I dont want to start an argument with anyone so i am just leaving it at that. i guess it just pissed me off that someone will join here and post dumb shit to achieve a higher rating when they actually have no idea what/s going on.

well....I guess I'm not sure what posts you are referring to. I know I have posted about how I did this with 40 clones that were taken from flowering plants one week from harvest. All of the plants I have now are clones from those. It did take a long time to revert them back to vegging. It would have taken less time to plant seeds. Two weeks in flowering is a great time to take clones IMO. 8-10 weeks is not. VV

It does take longer to root clones that are in flower, have you tried taking clones from some plant that isn't in flower so you can compare. I don't get the point either, it DOES take longer to root clones from a flowering plant as opposed to a plant that is not flowering.

i personaly am dying to see any clone i take survive so i have no idea what i am talking about? I am growing a mother and practicing on a few sick plants i had i dont know that could be the problem:) once i have a heat pad i think it will be all good.

what is the temps without a heat pad? What method are you using? And yes sick plants equal sick cuttings so this could be one reason why the clones aren't making it.

my temp gets to 50 onece my lights go out for a bit like everything else i think having the right supplies will help, just trying to ease some tention!!!

no tension here, and I'm not german I'm Finnish anyways...up the heat like you plan on doing. make sure your area and tools are clean and the mother plant is healthy and you will see clones survive.

i have been cloning for a long time and am quite good at it .. and my expreance is that it is harder to clone after 12/12. i think it takes longer

It was'nt any of you guys, it was a wanna be who is not responding to this or my messages. Oh well i guess i was just a little pissed, sorry for the confusion. I am going to try the cup of water with the bag idea though, maybe it will be faster. Every time so far i have roots out of the rockwool by day 13. Again i am sorry, i took it personally. Anyone have pics of there clone set-up? and how many of you clone to soil?
