Thought I was safe just passively top feeding my babies in Hydroton... About two months in and now this. Previously all I was worrying about was over feeding and giving them Nute Burn but Now WTF! I see nothing on them during their day period but at night when we both are sleep I wake up to this sh*t... I dont know what to do. I sprayed with a three in one spray Insect/fungus/mold, but apparently this whatever it is does not care. Any suggestions?

So you growing inside perhaps a garage? It doesn't appear that anything has been eatign them. Do you have a fan for air circulation on them?

in picture number 1 in the dead center you have caterpillar shit. it's a small bastard, basically it eats and then falls to the next leaf after it eats it hole. they come from the small moths that are native. you can get a spray for them that has a species of bacteria known as BT. don't recall the real name but it's in everything for caterpillars. or the organic way, pepper spray!! not the one you get at the store, but the one that you have to make yourself. message if you need more info.

A small fan on one side and a small heater on the other. This creates a temp of about 82 degrees but its in a basement with humidity and thats the only way I can regulate it to about 62 percent humidity. Carbon filter on the ceiling in room which works half the time since I smell them through out my house randomly.

You don´t have the skills to crush some onions and mix it with some hot peppers? Then try liquid dishwasher soap mixed in water, one tablespoon pr ltr more or less.... Could also try salt water.....

For more info (and you´ll find many other threads, most of them better) https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/336804-pesticides-insecticides.html
Nah I just totally stay out of the Kitchen, thats not my domain. I'm not worried about being organic this grow so I may go the Pesticide route...

What do you believe chewed those holes in the leaves if nothing has been eating the plants? Moon men maybe?

One way to keep critters from munching down plants is to put other critters on your plants that will munch down on the other munching critters. For larger munching critters praying mantis work wonders. They are like great white sharks that swim among plants, they will take out anything they come across. For smaller critters, like spider mites, ladybugs will do the trick. They are voracious eaters just like praying mantis and they will not pass up a meal if one happens to be in front of them.

If you live in an area with praying mantis just look around outside and catch a few and put them on your plants. If you have a garden supply store that sells them, purchase a few and free them on your plants. Before long if you want the praying mantis to remain alive you will have to catch things to feed them because nothing that is edible to them will remain on your plants for long.

Thanks to all for the info I'm going to purcahse the caterpillar killer sh*t at the store and maybe a hobby lobby type kit to grow my own praying mantis, haha... Thanks again everyone!

Yeah now that I look closer they are being eaten by something because the veins are left. was just thinking that maybe the leaves were weak from low circulation.

Neem oil is your friend! It's a natural substance extracted from Neem seeds (evergreen) that kills most pests and even takes down the odd fungus. Just spray it on your plants once every two weeks to keep them strong. Don't spray them within 2-3 weeks of harvest to avoid Neem flavored buds though :D

Pick it up at any grow store or nursery worth its salt.
