watering a new sprout

So i keep the top moist with a spray bottle but its been 5 days and im sure the bottom needs water. How should i do this keep spraying or add water? Dont want to add to much since its just its first serated leaves

...dude, just water it and don't water again until the pot feels dry. I like to keep my young ones in small pots so they will dry out rather quickly.

when they get dry pour some water on them just try not over do it wait for your soil to dry before watering again

Let it dry out then water it, lift it up and see how heavy it is. Then you will know when to water just by lifting your pots.

exactly, I agree. be careful not to over or under water it, thats a good way to stunt growth. it will be a little bit of a pain at first probally but after this grow you'll be able to tell for sure and be confident your on the right track easier.

I have my cfl at 2" from sprout

But this fucker has some vertical take off. This ok? Or is it stretching? Like a 2" stem
