I guess it depends on what each person considers to be inexpensive, or "cheap." "Cheap" to me might have a very different definition than it does to you. Try the link below and see if they are "cheap" enough for you.

Yeah, thats more like it. Cheap to me is cheap to everybody. You have 1 ballast for 125 dollars on one site and the same ballast for 75 dollars on another. The 75 dollar ballast would be the "cheap" one. lol

Thats a damn good price as long as it works. Yea, if they send you that, your coming out on the green end.HTG is where i bought my 400w hps, $119.00 for complete set, light, bulb, open ballast ,the first one broke after one week of 12/12, igniter didnt work, sent back and they sent another one(same) new one is doing same thing!!!! They said they will send me a digital 400w upgrade at no cost to me, if they do then i'd say thier a good company and stand by thier word,,,will let anyone know outcome on Mon. 6/21/2010. PLZ check with me before shopping with them!!!
I dont know about getting used lights but I will def check out amazon. Thanks for the info.amazon for panda film, craiglist for used lights...
price should not be the top consideration for lights it should be spectrum
