...have you checked out ebay?
...or Craigslist?

...used ballest/lights are a touchy thing with me personally. I like my ballest/bulbs new, I don't gamble with electric and bulbs lose lumens over time. Good luck though man.

Yeah, I dont think I would buy lights off ebay but I would consider buying the ballast. I actually think I found a good website. They have over 1000 different nuts to pick from. I will check out ebay. I dont know why I didnt think of going there.

I guess it depends on what each person considers to be inexpensive, or "cheap." "Cheap" to me might have a very different definition than it does to you. Try the link below and see if they are "cheap" enough for you.

Yeah, thats more like it. Cheap to me is cheap to everybody. You have 1 ballast for 125 dollars on one site and the same ballast for 75 dollars on another. The 75 dollar ballast would be the "cheap" one. lol

cheap to me means poorly built so it dont cost much. where as inexpensive would be what u described, they r the same ballast not a poorly built knock off for almost half price

I see what your saying but I dont mean poorly built. Dont get me wrong, Im just looking for good deals on good lights. I would rather spend 400 dollars on a good light than settle for the poorly made product.

Watch Homedepot, Menards ect..... They often have sales, 70 and 150 watt hps. You can often get the for around 50 bucks. Also HTGSUPPLY.COM has some good prices. Just gotta shop around.

Thats a damn good price. I got a 70w mh for 50 bucks at Lowes but the hps was I think 100 bucks, which is still a great price. Thanks for the help. I will check it out.

Think I understand what you´re saying here, my favourite sales point when I was a seller was "I will never get why people throw away 500Euro to save 150"........ Did that make sence??? ;)

Imo, drop the extras (mylar ++, and use the money saved on lights! (Btw, the prices "over there" seems outrageous!)

price should not be the top consideration for lights it should be spectrum

in the end you always get what you pay for

Yes, but what I was asking was "where can I find cheap lights" meaning, a very good light for less money than the same light somewhere else. You know how some sites, or stores have sells or discounts? Thats what im trying to find. The good stores with good discounts. I dont want to downgrade light for a better price. Believe me, im not poor but I want a good deal.
