Cheers don - yeah the CB is looking great! Massive buds but not as dense as the VK are...still, quite a unique 'soft and creamy' smell to them that's hard to describe. Feel free to post some pics here of your CB too!
wow looks reallly good man..I was kind of iffy at first because i did some reading on barneys farm and heard some bad things...like that any strains u order from them are all the same seeds and wutnot...either way though that is some high quality bud..u grew it well my friend.

Please describe how the crimea blue and vanilla kush smell.
The VK has a very concentrated citrusy smell with an overpowering undertone that I can't even describe...extremely intoxicating.
The Crimea Blue has a really warm smell that is super soft and creamy. I'm not sure how else to describe the smell...you'll have to wait for the smoke report for more info on the taste and the smell of the smoke I guess...
Oh yeah- I wanna know if the Vanilla is there yet, or is it just a Vanilla taste? Either way- all the plants look FUCKING AWESOME!!! Way to go! That VK is so frosty and the CB is HUGE!!
Can you hold a lighter or coke can next to the colas for perspective?

Thanks MrSolo - I'm a happy guy this week for sure! Harvest starting this Friday which will make for a busy but super rewarding weekend!
I can't say the VK have any 'distinct' vanilla smell to them, but under the sticky super-strong citrus peel smell, there's another very strong smell that I can't place...maybe it's the lavender or wild vanilla but I can't really tell. It's also the first time I've grown Kush, so some of that me be from that main part of the strain. I'm almost positive that the application of the 'Final Phase' solution in my flush helped 'clean' some of the sharpness out of the smell though. We'll see if it gives us a nice taste as well.
I'll try to get a perspective pic for you - it may not be until after trimming this weekend though, we'll see. These are some of the biggest colas I've grown yet, so I'll for sure get some comparison shots with a lighter. The one cola on 'Mohawk' (the VK plant that High Times posted on their site!) is going to be around 2 oz alone I'm guessing.
